Welcome to The Sleeping Moose, a charming cabin in the Rockies. Located in a serene area, this retreat offers seclusion and convenience. Part of a resort-style village with amenities like a basketball court, tennis courts, and disc golf, it's ideal for families or large groups. The cabin includes a fully stocked kitchen, private hot tub, pool table, and cozy fireplace. Surrounded by natural beauty, including a creek and hiking trails, it’s the perfect spot to unwind.



The Space:

This Cabin is a perfect retreat for families or large groups of friends, offering four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The upstairs has three of the four bedrooms, including a primary bedroom with a luxurious king bed and a full ensuite bathroom. All remaining beds are queen.



The cabin has multiple living rooms, which is great for families with children who want to have their own space. Each living room has its own pull-out sleeper sofa, great for accommodating additional guests or children. The property also features three full bathrooms, providing everyone with privacy.



A large deck wraps around most of the house, with a smaller one at the front, perfect for enjoying the surrounding mountains' views, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or stargazing at night.



Each living room and the primary bedroom has a TV with Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime for streaming. The upstairs living room is especially spacious and features a cozy fireplace, perfect for staying warm on chilly nights.



Outside in the back, there's a private hot tub and fire pit, providing the perfect setting for relaxing and unwinding after a day of adventure in the mountains. Whether you're soaking in the hot tub or roasting marshmallows around the fire, you'll love spending time reconnecting.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire property with nobody on site to bother them. If there's anything you need, we're only a phone call away!



The Neighborhood:

Along the Dutch Creek in a quiet forest setting, lies the Dutch Creek Resort! We offer everything you need in a recreational property.



A few minutes away, you'll find Fairmont Hot Springs, offering the largest hot springs pool in Canada and 4 golf courses within only 5 minutes!



Fairmont Ski Hill is only 10 minutes away, Panorama is 40 minutes and Kimberly Ski Hill is about an hour drive.



Mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing are all right outside your door!



Getting Around:

You will need a vehicle at this location however all of the resort style amenities are within walking distance and the town of Fairmont is only a few minutes drive.

• Kindly make sure to read and explore your Boarding Pass for detailed check-in ( and check out ) instructions and other information you need during and after your stay.



• We understand that accidents can happen during your stay, and we want to ensure that both you and the property are protected.

For your peace of mind, we offer two options:

1) Non-refundable Damage Waiver: For a small fee, this waiver covers accidental damages (up to $250) during your stay.

2) Refundable Safety Deposit: A credit card hold, that will be refunded upon a successful property inspection after your stay.
