Fishing Creek, Log Cabin & 23 Acres, ruggen naar National Forest!
Gewoonweg prachtig! Echt een soort! Aan een viskreek, met een grote vijver, direct grenzend aan National Forest aan 2 kanten. Prachtig uitzicht op de top. Einde van de privacy van de weg, maar met gemakkelijke toegang vanaf de provinciale weg. Perfecte blokhut en omgeving waarvan de meesten alleen maar dromen. Een voorrecht om te zien!

3 slaapkamers plus een loft, 2 badkamers plus een was / modder kamer. Groot overdekt terras wikkelt rond 3 zijden met ontzag inspirerende uitzichten rondom!

Gesloten poort en lange beboomde oprit geven het gevoel dat je op 500 hectare staat. Wildlife viewing (Moose, Mtn. Schapen, elanden, bever en zoemende vogels), sneeuwschoenwandelen, wandelen en vissen op het terrein zijn eindeloos. Uitgestrekte uitzichten in alle richtingen. Pike National Forest land naast de deur heeft geweldige treed hellingen, geweldige paden en zomer Elk Habitat, zelfs een waterval!

Gemakkelijk te bereiken, slechts 5 mijl uit CO Hwy 9. 23 mijl naar Breckenridge (ongeveer 35 minuten) met beroemde ski-en golfgebieden. Veertig minuten verderop is Buena Vista met wildwatervaren. Fairplay ligt naast de deur met wereldberoemde forelvissen, het historische South Park en alle diensten die u nodig heeft.

The photos don't do this place justice. Just an absolutely magical backdrop and property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended to countless friends asking where all of our amazing photos are taken. There were a couple of things that could have sent this place even further over the edge, like a hot tub, but as long as that’s not a deal breaker give this place a shot!!

Perfect mountain getaway

The property is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The fishing on the property was excellent, and we really enjoyed spending time outdoors. We chose Colorado as part of our goal to visit all the MLB stadiums, and the drive from Denver to the cabin was easy and incredibly scenic. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

An unforgettable stay!

This place was absolutely amazing—so much wildlife! One evening, a red fox came right up near the cabin, and we even spotted a moose during our stay. I wish I could post videos because I have so many, including one of me sitting on the porch when a hummingbird came right up and poked its little beak through the holes in my Crocs—too funny and so magical!We loved exploring the property and starting our mornings with coffee on the green chairs, soaking in the peace and quiet. The cabin itself was super comfy and cozy—just what we needed.We had such a great time that we even started researching properties in the area! That’s how much we loved it. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything we hoped for and more

Absolutely magical weekend getaway! This mountain cabin in Colorado was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled in a truly remote and peaceful location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The views were absolutely breathtaking— a mountain stream, snow-capped peaks, and stunning views of the valley, right from the porch. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible wildlife—we were lucky enough to spot moose on several occasions.The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. Excellent nature experience!

We spent a wonderful stay at Monica’s Cabin. She always was very nice and attended all the answers we had and gave us advice about the zone. The cabin is nested in a remote but amazing landscape yet close to the beautiful town Fairplay. The wilderness surrounds the place and it’s a joy to feel the spring breeze sitting at the porch.Thank you very much to Monica for sharing that little piece of paradise.

Just Wow

We came into town early for a wedding in Denver and spent a few nights before here before heading down. This is the quintessential Colorado mountain home you imagined. High elevation in between two higher peaks with a trout stream and pond running through the property. Quiet and secluded but not hard to get to at all. The stars were amazing and even loved the early 8" of snowfall that quickly went away. About the only downside was we did not see the Moose that everyone else wrote about. We did many hikes around Hosier Pass, walked around Breckenridge and went horseback riding in the changing Aspens down towards Fairplay.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at this house. Everything is as advertised. It is in a remote and quiet place in the wilderness. Moose sightings everyday sometimes within 50-60 feet of the house or driveway. If you want to get away from the noise and traffic of the city, this is a place you should consider for sure.

Amazing Location

My family and I spent the long Labor Day weekend at this fantastic log cabin in the mountains. What a beautiful and relaxing location. I could sit all day just looking out at the mountains and listening to the babbling Sacramento Creek that cuts through the property. The complete darkness of the night offers incredible star viewing.

This home exceeds expectations. The setting is incredible in both beauty and solitude. We saw over 40 different types of wildflowers when we hiked up the ridge and we enjoyed amazing views of the surrounding peaks. The house is well appointed and supplies. It a great getaway.

Return visit.. just as great as our first!

We love this cabin and hope to come back again! The house is lovely and has all the amenities. But the property is what’s really special. Great fishing right outside the cabin. Our son caught over 30 brookies during our stay!! Gorgeous views and awesome hiking.

This is a beautiful & isolated property. I did see a moose my first morning there but it took off before I could get a pic. Unfortunately, I didn't have any luck fishing on the property. But, adhere to the owner's recommendations: drink plenty of water and limit yourself as the altitude will get to you if you're not used to it.
