'The staff was over the top! They helped make dinner reservations, scheduled spa appointments and went out of their way to provide breakfast for us when we needed to leave early in the mornings. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was by far the best meal we had while in town. Our room was very large and luxurious. Every day when we returned our rooms were fresh and clean with a new treat to welcome us. Highly recommend staying here! PS, I forgot to mention the view from our balcony 💕'

'The hotel is very smart and, although has a lot of rooms, never felt especially busy. It’s a 25-35’ walk to town (uphill on the way back) but the two helpful shuttle buses mean the only challenge is getting home from dinner. The gym and spa area and gym are large and excellent. Most importantly, all the staff were fantastically friendly and fell over backwards to look after you.'

The spa is brilliant and if you have the chance to join an Aufguss session we would strongly recommend it - it was great! We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants.
