'Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. '

'We hebben in de ochtend de accommodatie geboekt en kregen snel een telefoontje van de eigenaar hoe laat wij verwachten te arriveren en dat alles al klaarstond voor onze komst. Bij aankomst werden wij vriendelijk opgewacht met de sleutel en werd alles uitgeleg, heel persoonlijk. Het appartement was zeer schoon, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. 'This is a very basic hotel. The room we stayed in was dark, hot and we could hear the neighbours exceptionally well. The bed was equipped with springs, so quite uncomfortable. The location is good, close to the beach, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. Some easy points of improvement: the extra charge of 3€ per day for aircondition was weird to say the least. Also the breakfast was under par.'

"Mooi uitzicht, schoon zwembad en de tuinen zijn prachtig. De appartementen zijn mooi. Het gehele complex is mooi aangekleed en je zit dichtbij de Blue Caves en shipwreck beach. Het ontbijt is erg standaard. Communicatie met de eigenaar is minder want ze spreekt geen Engels. We miste het warme welkomsgevoel zo nu en dan wat je bij veel andere verblijven wel hebt. Medewerkers die niet enthiausast groeten. Je komt aan bij het ontbijt en ze zitten op hun mobiel etc."
