No good restaurants near by and everything is closed several days during the week but we bought groceries nearby and made our own gourmet steak dinner with the provided pans. Location is close to other houses but tucked into trees so you do get a sense of privacy. '

'Great getaway to the Laurel Mountains. Spotless, clean, quiet and secluded. Easy check in, location is off grid, and away from others. There was work being done on water lines near the property which impacted water pressure. This is beyond the control of the property manager, but before you book, double check to make sure that work is finished, or make the informed decision to book in spite of the friendly notice. No complaints on our end; just wanted to mention the situation for others. Hot Tub...

'Beautiful cabin and area! Loved sitting on the porch listening to the stream. Kitchen was good, but could use a small (narrow) table to put things on. The hot tub was in pristine condition and was very comfortable. Great after a day of hiking! Bedroom was clean and comfortable but could use a small bedside table. We would highly recommend booking time at Cottage on Meadow Run. '
