'According to the owner this used to be the house of a prominent family of Fes. This is not very apparent from the outside, as the building does not distinguish itself from neighboring buildings, but once you enter it, a complete new world emerges. The inner court is really impressive, architecturally speaking, and is also tastefully decorated. It has a 1920s vibe. My room was a standard room and it was fairly basic, but ok. I would have expected the bathroom to be a bit more up to...

'Dar Victoria is quite easy to navigate to. It is quiet and cool. The room had air-conditioning. The welcome was warm and it was a pleasure to stay here.'

'We hebben genoten van de omgeving. Het hotel is pal gelegen aan de natuurlijke waterbron. Kan in de zomermaanden luidruchtig zijn.'

'Hotel is een beetje gedateerd, maar het deed ons deugd om even uit de oude stad en typische riads te zijn in dit hotel, waar toch een stuk meer comfort aanwezig was (verwarming, geen geluidsoverlast meer, rustige kamer...). Voor ons was bij het ontbijt ook voldoende keuze voor 3 dagen. Ook de ligging was goed in de ville nouvelle. Goede uitvalsbasis om Fes El Bali, Meknes of het nationale park Tazekka te gaan bezichtigen.'

'Wat een service ! Wat een ligging ! Fantastisch . Helaas is de ligging wat decentraal , en zijn er vrijwel geen ( geopende , redelijke ) restaurants in de buurt . 's Avonds de medina ingaan wordt afgeraden ... Dus tsja ... er blijft dan niet veel over .'

'We had a great time in the riad. Our room was large and clean, and it was cleaned well every afternoon. The staff was very nice. We interacted most with Haddou, and he was very nice and helpful. He helped answer all our questions about the area and helped foster a welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend this riad!'
