'We stayed a couple nights at this hotel before leaving on a Mediterranean cruise. The staff is super friendly, hotel has beautiful original woodwork from centuries ago. Breakfast was great, and the hotel has a nice lively restaurant and bar also. Conveniently located near the piazza and all the historic landmarks.'

'La struttura è valida. La sistemazione che mi è stata assegnata è stata però molto penalizzante non so se per colpa di Gallanti o di Hotels. Mi è stato infatti rifilato per 4 persone un container di 24 mq., l'unico così piccolo con il bagno senza bidet, senza che mi venisse proposta un'altra sistemazione più confortevole. ( Ho scoperto troppo tardi che le altre sistemazioni per 4 persone prevedevano come minimo 36 mq. per un prezzo pochissimo più alto ). Comunque la mediazione di Hotels è...

"Zeer goede ligging met vriendelijk personeel. Kamer is proper maar van vergane glorie. Ontbijt is zeer eenvoudig en eentonig met te weinig vers aanbod.
Tot onze grote verbazing werden ook (grote) honden in de kleine ontbijtruimte toegelaten.

"In hindsight, we would've booked another hotel for our stay in Ravenna. Unfortunately the quality of this hotel is quitte poor.
Here are the things we didn't like during our stay:
-Cleanliness of the room: the room didn't feel or look clean
-Furniture in the room: outdated & didn't match, a door of a wardrobe was missing. Very little care has been put in the rooms. Really old rusty elevator as well.
-Problems with airconditioning: during one night the airconditioning functioned really poorly and then shut off, we've heard other guests complain about this issue as well. When asking the staff next morning, we were informed that there was an issue with the airco and a repairmen was going to fix it. No apologies whatsoever. Later another member of the staff denied this and blamed us for not using the system correctly which we did.
-Communication with the staff: as an English speaker it was hard to communicate with most of the staff. We've also saw miscommunication between staff.
-Breakfast: nice that it was included but not a single fresh item displayed beside the fruit
Plusside was the location of the hotel which is close to the station and city centre. However you can find hotels in this area that are far better than the Roma hotel. "
