Great location and cabin!
Location of property was stunning and the cabin was very cozy and even more beautiful than the pictures shown. It had everything you need and easy to settle in for a couple of days. The area around property was beautiful and we found many things to do and explore. We would love to come back in the summer/early fall to see what the area is like without all the snow!

This is one of the nicest cabins we have stayed in, the location is beautiful, its relatively close too a lot of amazing places. I highly recommend taking a day of your trip to visit all the state parks in the area.

We were so happy to relax and unwind at Dave and Amy's cozy cabin in the woods. Dave was an excellent communicator, and the property was beautiful as advertised. We especially enjoyed the view and close walk to the river.

Delightful late fall getaway!
The cabin was delightful! Exactly as we expected! Clean, well set up, all the amenities we could ask for. Directions were perfect, and getting in was easy peasy! Our host was easy to work with, prompt in communication. Warm and cozy were our main requirements, and a perfect location was an added plus. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

We loved the place , beautiful spot on the baptism river ! Great place centrally located from the different hikes and sights we did. I liked the updated kitchen too, bonus! Enjoyed some coffee by the river one morning and watched movies at night.

Great Location
Very comfortable cabin on scenic lot with rushing creek. Property has all the outdoor features ( decks, gazebo, grill and fire pit) and indoor comforts ( spacious shower, satellite t.v., and gas potbelly stove). Easy drive to Finland and central to all the North Shore.

Quite Getaway
This cabin above the Baptism River was absolutely beautiful! From the sounds of the river to the wild daisies growing in the lawn… we couldn’t have found a better place to honeymoon. The access to the state parks for daytime trips, the river to go sit by and explore and the serenity of the cabin to just sit in and play games while it rained out. It was all amazing.

Fantastic quiet area!
We loved our stay in this nice secluded area! You can get on the atv trail right from the house. There is plenty of parking and a round about to pull through if you are pulling a trailer. Only park on the designated areas though. They have a septic system you cannot park on or drive over. The house was very clean and welcoming! The bed is one of the nicest mattresses we have had in our rental experience thus far. The only thing I would like updated would be the gas grill outside and the pans in the kitchen.

Beautiful location and cute cabin. Very disappointing to have a camera mounted outside of the cabin that appeared to have a 360 view. There are no curtains or blinds on the kitchen windows and the large picture window which we quickly realized they could see into the cabin. Took away from our 5 night stay. No where did we see anything about the camera in the description or his book upon arrival. A drawer in the living room that had a small padlock on it. Seemed odd. Overall beautiful location.

We spent three days at the cabin. It was quiet, peaceful, and secluded. Beautiful view of the river. Nice, screened-in gazebo to relax and listen to the river's flow and singing birds. The cabin is well-equipped and stocked and beds are comfortable. We plan on coming back!

Great Place to Get Away
We really enjoyed the beautiful cabin and surroundings. The sound of the water was awesome to wake up to. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Dave's book of favorite things turned out to be a real treasure. As someone who has lived in MN all my life and visited the North Shore every year, I was surprised to learn there were still things I'd never known about to go see. We really enjoyed Illgen Falls and Hidden Beach. Thanks for sharing your space with us. If I had to give one thing for improvement- the camera clearly does not just point down the driveway. We tried not to care, but it did feel like we could be on camera any time, which made it not quite as relaxing to be there as it would have been otherwise. (sometimes you don't want to wear pants, you know?) That said, we just made saying hi to Dave part of our routine. :) Thanks for a great trip, Dave!

Very cozy, secluded cabin. This is an excellent spot for a winter getaway. The cabin is warm and welcoming with nice amenities and a beautiful view. The surrounding area is lovely, as well, and close driving distance to Tettegouche for snowshoeing and views of Lake Superior.

We have stayed at this VRBO before, and this visit was just as fantastic as before! The cabin was very cozy and warm, and the snowmobile trails were nicely & recently groomed. Trails are a short distance from the cabin. We had a great experience for the entire weekend. We will be doing this trip again next year with the same VRBO!

Very private with a beautiful view
The cabin is cozy enough and has a modern kitchen and bathroom. The cabin was very clean and stayed warm in the warm weather. The driveway has a large loop to make parking very easy. I would definitely recommend staying there an will definitely be back.

Nice Get Away
Looking for a nice quiet cabin in the Northwoods of MN. This is the place. Close to Finland (town not country), Lake Superior, the Baptism River, and Tettegouche State Park. The cabin was small but comfy for two people. Way to much snow to explore the property but did make it down to snowshoe a bit on Crown Creek.
