Geniet van een aantal rustige eiland leven op de Chesapeake Bay in een prachtig Waterview strand huis en is gelegen in een kleine Waterview stad. Dit volledig en onlangs gerenoveerd, cape stijl, Bayview huis is op 3 hectaren, waar u kunt genieten van het spelen met hoefijzers, volleybal, crabfeasts en cookouts op ons gas BBQ grill.

Bekijk onze commerciële crabbers komen met hun vangst en kopen krabben en oesters recht uit de boot tegen groothandelsprijzen! Dan hebben plezier koken ze recht in de achtertuin op onze zelfgemaakte dampende pot! Breng uw krab netten zoals u knie- hoge lopen en vang je eigen zachte krab. Vissen en krabben is overvloedig op het eiland. Breng uw boot en beide doen, of u kunt een tochtje op onze lokale Fishing Charter Boats regelen. (Boothelling slechts enkele minuten.)
We hebben verschillende schaal-en schelpdieren planten die verse gestoomde krabben, vers geplukte krab en softcrabs bieden. Dat is als je liever niet ze zelf koken.

Wij zijn gevestigd in de beste jacht en rockfish gebieden van Noord-Amerika. Ook verkrijgbaar eend en herten jagen eigenschappen. Dit Island Waterfront Gemeenschap biedt kajakken naar het vogelreservaat. Met binaculars kunt u de Bald Eagles Seahawks, Osprey, reigers, zwanen, pelikanen en andere zeldzame vogels te zien. Ontdek de stranden en baaien voor Indiase artefacten, schelpen en zee glas.

Als u wilt de waterwegen tour met de boot, om te vissen, zou "Hoopers Island Expeditions" de weg te gaan! Adam neemt u mee naar de mooiste visstekken rond!
Indien u wenst te huren kano's, kajaks, fietsen, of jetski's, zou Susan's Blackwater peddels en pedalen van de weg te gaan! Ze is gelegen in de buurt van de beroemde "Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge," een outdoor liefhebbers droom!
Als u eigenaar bent van uw boot en op zoek naar een plek om te slaan, "PL Jones Werf" is slechts een minuut van Bayview. Zij zullen u graag te huur je een slip voor een week of weekend. Er is ook volop ruimte om het in de werf in Bayview te houden, duw hem vervolgens overboord op onze gratis boothelling een paar minuten van het huis.

Fiets het eiland. Rit naar Old Salty's voor de lunch, het best bekend om hun verse vis, zelfgemaakte broodjes en hoge mijl meringe pies! De eetkamer heeft een prachtig waterviews tijdens het eten !! In het terug naar de lokale bevolking weten op de "gevormde boot" bar. Je hoort ze praten over de vangst van de dag en hun ervaringen op de boot.
     . De wegen zijn vlak en schilderachtige, plezierig om te rijden of lopen uw hond. Neem een ​​duik op onze openbare strand als je op zoek naar pijlpunten, of rijden 70 minuten naar de beroemde Ocean City Boardwalk en het strand. Breng de dag zwemmen in de oceaan en genieten van de winkels, restaurants, mini-golf pretparken en fijne voedsel dat ze te bieden hebben.

In mijn verhuur heb ik ongeveer 100 folders / brochures van activiteiten voor elke vakantie-ervaring! Rijden 15 minuten naar de Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, rijden rond het toevluchtsoord, stoppen en doen de wandelingen in de natuur en de fietsroutes. Vogels kijken is erg populair hier, waar de Amerikaanse zeearenden gedijen.
Stop in de bezoekerscentra cadeauwinkel en informatiecentrum zie de gevulde wilde dieren tentoongesteld. En kijk naar de live webcam van de eagles nesting hun jongen.

De instelling en eenzaamheid is uitzonderlijk, als je in de rustige uitzicht op de Chesapeake Bay. Drink je Am. koffie op de veranda, waar in de avond heb je de perfecte 'open view' van de zonsondergang over de baai! Wanneer het tijd is met pensioen te gaan in de avond krullen met een goed boek op onze volledig verlichte raam zitplaatsen. De besteding van de avond uit?
Cambridge biedt een scala aan eetgelegenheden, bioscopen, of het Hyatt Chesapeake voor golfen of spa bezoeken. Bezoek de schilderachtige stadjes van St. Michaels, en Oxford. Onze Bayview Huis is de perfecte ontspannen familie-uitje, terugtocht, vakantie of ongeacht de gelegenheid hopen u hier te zien voor uw vakantie plezier !!!

      BEDANKT!! We hadden een geweldige tijd! De jongens en ik kan niet wachten tot juli om alles te doen

Hooper Islands Getaway

An amazing family getaway. Laura was beyond wonderful and gracious. Laura took my family fishing and they cannot wait to do it again. People are friendly and wave as you pass them by. Food was great. Thank you to the owners of Old Salty’s who were kind to us. The view the food the drinks…top notch. The house had everything we needed. Would go again!!!

A great place on Hoopers Island

A wonderful long weekend getaway on Hoopers Island--close to the bay and to the attractions of the island. Laura is a great host who ensured we had everything we needed for our stay--a roomy house with a great screened in gazebo and plenty of activities for our elementary school aged kids. Highly recommend it!

Great relaxing getaway !!

We loved our stay at Bay-View! Laura was an excellent host. The house was so clean. Check in was easy. The location is only steps from Hoopers Island road, to bicycle to the bridge, or view the beautiful marinas and waterfronts. The general store is only down the road. We biked the area right before sunet which was beautiful. We seen eagles,brown pelicans. The Osprey already migrated south by early October. A short drive 15 minutes to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge offered great photos and smooth bike riding. Bring mosquito repellant for warm days. We didnt have any problems with mosquitos because the temperatures were in the high 50s in the day and high 40s at night. Lauras home had plenty of items to help with having my Border collie along. There was a pooper scooper for cleanups outside,a long cable and plenty of different sized tie outs for letting your dog outside to do her business. 😁 Each bedroom had a fan in it if you like white noise. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and blankets were very smooth and soft. The house had AC and Heat. Plenty of channels to watch on TV. A smart TV with lots of apps and channels. Both porches were great, especially the enclosed gazebo. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay. Robbin 10/8/23

Destination Wedding on Hooper's Island

Everything was very clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We would have liked more double beds for couples, but space was limited so that's probably not possible. The half bath was in the same room as one twin bed, so in order to give privacy to guests using that bathroom, no one slept in that bed. Over all, our experience was very pleasant and we would rent there again if the occasion arose. Landlady was especially helpful and accommodating!

Wonderful Stay on the Bay

We can’t say enough great things about our stay. Laura was a wonderful host and has thought of every possible detail. The property was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you could need. All the seating and beds were comfortable. AC worked great, TV has plenty of channels and streaming. All the bathrooms were very clean and operational. The screen porch was a wonderful location for meals! The location is very close to many water activities but the best part for us was the peace and quiet. Most of the time all we could hear was the breeze. Laura even arranged to deliver us some crabs!! We’ll look forward to staying again!

Hooper Island Getaway

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for a few nights but the time we were there was very enjoyable. Laura is definitely one of the best hosts you can imagine. She went above and beyond making our stay very enjoyable. She provided almost everything needed for fishing and crabbing. Whether it was the crab pots, fishing polls, bait and even some very detailed instructions! The only thing you'll need to do is get the licenses which are available at the local general store. Laura provided us with local contacts to purchase crabs as we needed a lot for a little family get together that we were having. We also ended up steaming the crabs ourselves and she went above beyond finding us a steamer at the last moment. The house comes with the perfect outside eating area. It has lights, a fan and most importantly its screened! The Mosquitoes on Hooper's Island are no joke and the General store even sells shirts calling them the Hooper's Island Air Force! If you are bringing kids, the rental provides TONS of games and outside activities for them to do. We had a great time playing the customized Dorchester County Monopoly game. Thanks again Laura for the great stay!

We love Fishing Creek !

This house was perfect for our trip to Hoopers Island. We were in town for the Bluegrass Festival at Old Salty’s so the location could not have been more perfect. The house has every possible thing you could need for your stay. Laura is extremely responsive and helpful. She has extensive knowledge of the area and has many great recommendations for things to do and see. The screened in area out front was perfect for spending time with our pets and eating. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch and drinking coffee while we watched the wildlife, which is abundant in the area. The general store is 1 mile away, which was easily accessible via bicycle. There are a lot of outdoor activities in the area. I would highly recommend this home and the host!

So Comfortable

The property manager is delightful. Easy to see so much thought went into to provide a vacation sanctuary—well stocked home. Even the outside area had so much to offer—picnic table, recreation goodies, fishing equipment, etc. The best are the beautiful sunrise and sunsets on front porch. I’m going to miss these moments.

Perfect vacation

My family and I had the best vacay ever! The house was amazing so clean and fully stocked with everything you would need! We stayed only a week which was not long but with staying a week we had the option for a fishing trip which my bf loved and so did the kids (we caught so many) we are already making plans to come back and stay longer! Highly recommend for family's! There was so much fun with all the family activities provided and even if you just want a quiet get away you will not be disappointed!! Only tip for renting make sure to do a week or longer you will not want to leave the hospitality is one of a kind the town is one of a kind the experience is one of a kind! Cant wait to bring my family back soon the kids are already asking when we can go back on Mrs. Laura's boat and fish again! Loved seeing all the different wild life and searching for there famous sea glass! Looking foward to seeing y'all soon!!

Sweet family getaway

My family (4 adults, 1 teen and 2 children) loved our stay! The house was clean and cozy. I actually loved it a lot more in person than when I saw the pictures! Inside the bedrooms were comfortable, the living room was stocked with toys, games and cute like puzzles. Outside was great! The large picnic table, tree swing and front porch made for amazing memories. Finally, the levers owners were amazing!!! Communication was fantastic and the fishing trip offered was the best I’ve ever been on. We were catching fish 2 at a time. Highly recommend a low key stay in this sweet home.

Peaceful and beautiful

Laura’s place is a little of piece of heaven. It is located in a very remote area, full of beautiful birds and amazing sunsets. We had a restful time watching osprey flying in and out from her nest right in front of the house and lots of amazingly fresh soft and hard crabs from super friendly locals. Laura is an amazing host who took the time to show us how to use her crab traps and ensured we were well taken care of. The house was super clean and contained all the comforts of home. Fantastic bay view Getaway

Fresh oysters, lump crabmeat, fire pit, sunsets, sea glass hunting, fishing, and a comfy, cozy super clean home to relax in. Laura and John are hosts extraordinaire! John had the fire pit set up and brought us fresh oysters. Laura dropped off crabmeat and a lighter. We found the house very warm and inviting. Our two dogs loved the big yard to explore and play fetch. We want to return when it’s warmer. Great place!!

Fantastic Mini-Getaway

Husband and I took a short trip during the pandemic to recharge. The house was clean and comfortable. The owners were attentive, responsive, and friendly. They went out of their way to place an order of crabs and brought them to us to enjoy. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this place to friends.

What an amazing experience in Fishing Creek and with Laura. We will be back next year!

The property was perfect for what we were looking for! The house was clean and contained all necessary accessories for experienced and beginners to fish and crab. The neighbors are extremely welcoming along with Laura the property manager. Laura provides an experience of a lifetime in the quaint home! We set on the front porch every evening after a long day on the water and enjoyed the views of the sunset and water. I will definitely return next year!

Owner was extremely helpful

We had a great experience at this home. The owner was very helpful and left detailed instructions for us, helpful hints about the property, and local info. The house was very clean and well kept. It’s an older home but is well maintained and has all the modern conveniences - plus it is dog friendly which we really appreciated. We were visiting for a small family wedding and didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time at the house, but we wished we could have spent more time in the back yard. It had a nice fire pit area and lots of fun activities for our teenager. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet weekend away. There is a restaurant within walking distance and a general store not far away which is super convenient. We give this one 5 stars.

Great getaway!

We appreciated the quiet get away from DC for a long weekend. We loved the front porch -- nice breeze and view of the water. Laura also arranged to deliver us steamed crabs on Friday night which was a great treat!
