'For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. 'has everything you need for a short stay. Bedrooms and bathrooms are quite tiny and wardrobe space is limited. No problem if you are out and about most of the time but staying in might be a bit crammed. There is a small outdoor area to sit in - if you like talking to the neighbours as all chalets are close together.'

'Perfect location for a beach holiday. Stunning views of the bay and a short walk from the beach, either down the concrete slipway at the yacht club or down some steps down onto the dunes from the coast path. Grand children loved it. The apartment was really nicely decorated and had everything you might need. We will definitely be coming back.'

'DO NOT BOOK this apartment. We arrived at property with an eviction notice on door - property has been repossessed. The number given when booking this property ignored messages and made us believe that we could stay. Scammers who are now not willing to issue a refund.'

"Ik heb een fijn verblijf gehad in het Carmichael hotel. De receptie was vriendelijk en check in zeer vlot. De kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien. Het bed was heel comfortabel, met een goed matras en heel fijne kussens. Overal lijkt aan gedacht in de kamer. Er is ook airconditioning aanwezig, die tevens als verwarming dient. De kamer en het hele hotel was erg schoon al het personeel hartelijk. Ik zou het zeker aanraden en kom graag een keer terug."
