  • Weggestopt in een serene gemeenschap ongeveer tien minuten ten zuiden van het centrum van Flagstaff, is de Kona Cabin een geweldige plek voor een snel weekendje weg of een lang verblijf. Met een mooie en grote patio buiten, kan het hele gezin genieten van de schone, frisse lucht van de bergen en een avond onder de sterren terwijl ze rond de gasvuurplaats zitten.

    Een gastvrije greatroom begroet gasten bij hun binnenkomst. Met gewelfde plafonds, uitgestrekte ramen en comfortabel meubilair voelen de gasten zich meteen thuis wanneer ze door de deur lopen. Net buiten de greatroom is een volledig uitgeruste keuken met roestvrijstalen apparatuur, granieten aanrecht en alles wat u nodig heeft om een heerlijke maaltijd te bereiden. Vlak naast de keuken is een terras met een buitengrill, waar u de zomermiddagen kunt doorbrengen om het avondeten klaar te maken na een lange dag vol ontdekkingen in de omgeving.

    De Kona Cabin beschikt over vier slaapkamers en twee en een half baden, verdeeld over drie verdiepingen. Twee van de slaapkamers zijn voorzien van kingsize bedden en twee kamers met queensize bedden. Een leuke tv-kamer beneden en een grote ruimte gevuld met bordspellen, films en een Wii-systeem zijn perfect voor diegenen die op zoek zijn naar een ontspannen vakantie rond het huis ook. De Kona Cabin is de perfecte plek om te bezoeken tijdens het verkennen van alles wat Noord-Arizona en Flagstaff te bieden hebben, inclusief toegang tot bossen en wandelpaden in de buurt, zodat u gemakkelijk kunt genieten van een ontspannen wandeling in het prachtige hoge landschap van Noord-Arizona.

    U bevindt zich op slechts enkele minuten van I-17, I-40 en een verscheidenheid aan restaurants en winkels. Everything was perfect! The hot tub was preheated, the house was very clean, and plenty of space for all of us. The host was very quick in communicating with us and accommodating with a change in the amount of people in our group. I would definitely stay here again.

We just stayed here 1 night, but it was quiet and relaxing. The property isn't quite as secluded as the pictures make it seem, but it's quiet an well-appointed. Recommend booking with confidence.

We had great communication as we approached our stay. We were very confident the check-in process would be easy and it was. The only issue was the weather and the host suddenly changed the thermostat setting from cool to heat for us since the temperature got down to 58 overnight.It’s a beautiful home in the woods at about 6800 foot elevation. There is plenty of room for up to five cars in the parking area. The kitchen is well done and easy to use. It was a rainy weekend so we didn’t get to use the outside deck or hot tub. But I’m sure you’ll enjoy that if you come here.The master bedroom is wonderful. The bed is extremely comfortable, lots of room, and the bathroom looks like a magazine ad.The beds were comfortable all around. It rained all weekend and it was very humid. Due to this the basement bedroom was a little musty. But that was our only complaint for the weekend.All of our guests had a great weekend and we will look for this property the next time we’re coming through Flagstaff.

This was the best place for a getaway for the month of July from the Phoenix heat! It's clean, spacious, great backyard if bringing a dog and not too far from shopping, lakes and restaurants in Flagstaff. Also, very friendly neighborhood. We would highly recommend this one!

Great house/cabin in quiet neighborhood

We had a short stay but it was spectacular. Great place for family stay after visiting the Grand Canyon. All amenities were as expected but maybe bring a couple extra blankets if your warm blooded :-), plenty of room but cozy and nice areas to hang out together. Nice updated bathrooms and great kitchen, would definitely stay again

It would have been nice to have control over the air conditioning, as the main floor tended to get warm during the day. The hot tub wasn’t clean when we arrived, but management responded quickly and sent someone out the next morning to take care of it. Overall, the house felt clean and was a decent place to stay, though it wasn’t one of our favorites.

Sons NAU graduation

Went for our son NAU graduation, way better than a hotel. The house was beautiful,clean, & everything that was on the listing right on point. Beautiful location in the mountains of Flagstaff,Az, short drive to NAU. Beautiful neighborhood that this house is at. I would definitely love to book this again.

Week long stay

This was an exceptionally large home, which was needed. Note on linen closet stated "not for guests". Extra towels were needed Toilet on main level very slow to flush, it was plunged on Friday every time it was used.

My biggest complaint is that I never received check-in instructions and on the day I was to check-in I could not locate my host. I had to call VRBO who eventually got contact information for check-in which was about 2.5 hours process. With check-in time at 5pm and a 2 hour drive to get there we decided not pursue the drive as we would have not gotten there before 9pm at night. This proved to be a good decision as when we did arrive the next day the code would not open the door...we tried to call the host (don't bother as they don't answer and instead send you to email) someone did try to help via email. Gave us code to lock box but that did not open the lock box. Then gave us a code to go through the garage which that did work. Communicating via email is a bit slower process than just picking up the phone and talking with someone. For the most part the cabin was good, however it does need some TLC..the bathroom shower handle is broken off (the other shower head worked fine) and a lamp was broken...nothing major just a few little fixes. Pet owners---please pick up after your dogs so the next renter doesn't have to. It is nice that there are places you can take your dog so please be respectful of the cleaners and the next renters and pick up what's left behind by your pet.

Nice place for a few days

Nice spot, know this, the beds are covwred with inexpensive hospital grade mattress protectors, these cause excessive heat and make noise everytime you move. The downstairs bathroom was inoperable. The outside area was wonderful and we wish we could have enjoyed it.

Plenty of space for the six of us adults. Two full bathrooms and one half bath. Beats the price of a hotel. Little bit out of Flagstaff. Quiet area except for the occasional airplane taking off from the nearby airport - certainly not a detraction in the least. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. House was clean. Didn’t use the hot tub, but it, too, looked clean. House was comfortable. Could not control the thermostat - would liked to have turned the heat off completely and saved our host a little money - but the house stayed well within the acceptable comfort range anyway.

First, let me say the space was nice, it worked for our needs, and it was not terrible. What the pictures don't show is that this house is in a neighborhood with homes all around it, and pretty close at that. Lots of windows, which was nice for sunlight, but looking right into your neighbor's house, not so great.The house could be amazing, but it's quite run-down and needs some serious upkeep. The master shower has ZERO water pressure. Which was so disappointing, as it was a nice master shower. BTW, we did everything they said in the instructions, and no water pressure. Continuing on, the kitchen stove is gas and looks nice, but none of the knobs control the gas properly, so you cannot actually cook on the stove. Ironically, the same issue with the BBQ grill. As mentioned, this place could be amazing if only someone spent some upkeep time on it. Small things all over that are broken or not working, which all add up to a low rating and questionable experience. We had a snag with the check-in and waited for a couple of hours to get the access code. I need to take part ownership of that, as I should have confirmed that before we arrived. Nonetheless, it took way longer than it should to finally get in.Bottom line, this space was overpriced for the quality it delivered. I would not recommend it, but I guess that's the dice you roll when you book a Vrbo.

I brought seven of my adult friends from Phoenix for a cool, rainy weekend getaway, and this cabin was perfect for our group. We enjoyed lunch on the back patio during a break in the rain and loved watching the variety of birds and squirrels that visited the property. Even though the weather kept us from using the fire pit and hot tub, we still had a great time relaxing together.The cabin itself is cozy, peaceful, and in good shape. Everything was very clean—from the dishes to the bathtub to the couches—and all the basics we needed were provided. (Tip: bring cling wrap or foil if you’ll need them.) The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are close but respectful.We drove into downtown for the Sunday Farmer's Market, about 15 minutes from the property, and enjoyed some great food and people watching. The leaves were just starting to change colors.Great communicaton from the property manager. I did let them them know that two of the stove’s front burners weren’t igniting, so if cooking is a big part of your stay, it’s worth asking if that’s been fixed. Otherwise, this is a wonderful cabin for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. Early check in was allowed for an additional fee.
