We stayed here for my son's graduation. His extended family came in from out of town and we had 9 people there. All fit around the table for dinner and games. Plus the maim area had enough seating for us all to sit together. The kitchen was fully stocked for all the cooking we do. Thank you for the beautiful place.

Beautiful Spring Stay
The cabin was great for a big family get away. The large dining table was so fun for family card games. The cabin was stocked well with kitchenware, bedding, and extra supplies (toilet paper, etc.). Kids enjoyed the arcade game downstairs and it was a fun throwback for the adults. The property is nicely placed with beautiful trees to help feel private. We were even surprised with a late spring snowstorm and got to experience the cabin as a winter wonderland in spring.

Snowbowl retreat.
We chose this property because of size and location. We was 12 mins from snowbowl and the property is quite and peaceful. Definitely recommend staying here if you need a place to unwind after hitting the slopes

Hidden Hideaway Gem
The location to Snowbowl was what mattered most to us (3 milestone the top) The size and floorplan of the home was perfect for my families needs. The game room was perfect for our adult children to hang out in and the arcade entertained our 4 year old grandson. For us the only thing missing was wine glasses other than that the home was stocked well with everything that you could need, comfy couches. The space heaters in the bedrooms were used to warm ourselves while we showered we figured that out on day 2 as it was quite chilly this week. The downstairs mattresses were uncomfortable for my oldest who is 5 months pregnant and her hubby who has a bad back, but the master mattress was very comfy and the same in the master was delightful. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the kitchen and all the bathroom countertops have been updated along with the master tub. The photos in this listing do not reflect the updates. We definitely would stay here again!

The house was large, well-stocked and furnished and suited our group of diverse ages in 3 generations very well. We all enjoyed our meals together and appreciated the large dining room table where all could fit. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable and clean as were the baths. Some of the kitchen utensils and pot holders were not clean. Loved the location.Close to skiing!

We stayed at Spirit Hollow this past weekend and had an amazing time. Its a great getaway location for family or group of friends, plenty of room to spread out, took the 5 Grand kids and they had an amazing time playing in the snow. Its a great house with balconies over looking the forest, pool table, and arcade. Craig the Landlord had everything ready for us when we arrived. The pellet stove was lit which made it toasty warm, no complaints at all, he has plenty of instructions posted for pellet stove and wifi passcode, we had an amazing stay and definitely recommend this wonderful retreat Spirit Hollow, 5 stars and we will definitely rent again, thank you Craig.

The property was very spacious. We loved the pellet stove! It was a bummer that the fireplace didn’t work in the bedroom & all of the smoke detectors were not working properly since we can see the wires hanging out of them. The bathroom showers were clogged so when we shower we would be standing in 2in of water. If those minor things were fixed then I would have given 5/5.

yeah, the propane fireplace in the master bedroom Vrbo will not allow us to use because of the danger of carbon monoxide. Also, we have smoke detectors in every bedroom we just got battery operated ones and brought them lower so they’re easy to change and disconnected the ones that were hardwired, because you always had to have a 10 foot ladder to change, so sounds like to me it should’ve been a five out of five appreciate you staying with us and I will take a look at the shower sure just an easy fix I’m always available 24 hours a day to fix any problems so if any problems ever arise, please reach out to my cell phone number which is provided and I will fix immediately

Enchanting Flagstaff experience
Spirit Hollow is a beautiful property. It is well stocked with the essentials for a family stay. It has an amazing game room. There is plenty of comfy seating for a large family and large televisions. It had quite a bit of cat hair that caused allergic reactions. The bedspreads were a little stinky. There were dirty pans left in odd places. The master bedroom does not get adequate heat so it’s quite cold at night. It snowed on our last day to our delight. Glad we had all wheel drive. The road into the neighborhood is not paved.

Overall, we had a wonderful trip! The cabin was beautiful and the views equally as beautiful, the cabin had all of the amenities we were looking for such as a great fire pit and pool table/games. There was plenty of space and felt very homey. We weren’t far at all from town/ hiking trails which was wonderful. Craig was very quick to respond with any questions or concerns as well. Definitely a staple in our future trips to flag!

Grand Canyon
Our stay at Spirit Hollow Retreat was very pleasant. We were only able to stay a few days, but really wanted to stay longer. The location was fantastic for the scenery and relaxation. The house was exactly like the pictures. The only thing we felt was not up to par were the mattresses. They were very lumpy and many of our party were not able to sleep well. Overall Spirit Hollow Retreat provided us with everything we needed for our short stay.

Perfect location for skiing or shopping. So much space! Beds and linens were perfect! We’ve stayed in rentals all over and this by far was the best in sleeping accommodations. No one had to try to fit on a single mattress or a pull out.

Fantastic host, good property, some issues
The host was extremely friendly, attentive, and communicative. He even let us leave a day early and refunded the day after we had a plumbing issue in the downstairs bathroom. The house is large and has a pool table, an arcade machine with many classic games, and a roku tv upstairs. There is also a nice wood pellet heater upstairs that works extremely well once you figure it out (be careful not to heat the house *too* much!) Unfortunately, we did run into some problems which I feel need to be fixed if I were to ever book it again. First and foremost, all beds are outdated and very uncomfortable. Every adult in the house complained about being unable to sleep, having aches from the beds, or both. The pillows aren’t the best and make it very difficult to properly rest your head. There are more than enough sheets, but not any extra blankets from what I could find. Also, the house isn’t super clean. It isn’t disgusting by any means, but there was a lot of dust on the floors and surfaces. We used the dyson from downstairs to vacuum the floors and it was nearly half full from just the upstairs area. Some picky things I want to mention: there isn’t really any place to put your coats or wet clothes unless you hang them over the leather couch downstairs. Also, all of the external doors auto lock (and the one leading to the garage), so it’s really easy to accidentally lock yourself out. I managed to avoid it by keeping the doors gapped a little but my dad kept forgetting and had to call us to let him inside. Additionally, the garage smelled like mildew because the water heater leaked and the septic system is very sensitive. Those aren’t the host’s fault necessarily (the explained that the previous guests left the garage open and it froze all the pipes) but I figured it was worth mentioning. Something even more minor is that we couldn’t get the master bedroom’s fireplace to work even after following the instructions that the just left. This might’ve been a user error problem though. I’m still rating this property five stars because the host was amazing, but I wouldn’t book it again unless the beds were replaced and the leaking water heater issues were fixed. Once those are resolved, we all loved our stay and would bet you’d do the same!

This house was great! It was 9 of us and we had plenty of room. Clean, warm, with all the basics you need. Centrally located- we did easy day trips to Grand Canyon and Sedona. We got a lot of snow and the driveway and road were cleaned up promptly. Surrounded by a beautiful forest.

Great house, close to Snowbowl. Very cozy with a pellet stove, and heated floors in the basement. Perfect for winding down after a day on the slopes. Incredible View
Spirit Hollow is absolutely beautiful and the perfect family getaway. It has an incredible view of the mountains and wildlife. Fun activities for adults and kids, seeing the snow fall from the living room is magical. The area is safe and convenient, gas stations and stores are within distance, and Door-Dash delivers. This was my second year staying at this location, and I plan to make it a yearly tradition.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area
This property was clean and well prepared. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for each of the meals we made. The beds were soft and comfortable. The pellet stove in the living room made it nice and cozy. The only complaint we have is that the check in instructions clearly state you aren't allowed to walk around in the woods outside. The home is on some acreage but the boundaries aren't clearly marked so our kids couldn't really go outside and play without fear of the police being called.

Great House in the Forest
The property was amazing. Set off the main road but tucked into the forest in a small community. Very quiet. Saw deer running around on our arrival. Well stocked kitchen & linens & was perfect for a small group of friends to use as a jump off point to explore the area. 10min from groceries & 15min from downtown Flagstaff that has breweries, bars & places to eat even after most of the town shuts down for the night. We had a great experience here. Communication with host was great & we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Know that fire restrictions are pretty strict in the area for obvious reasons.

We enjoyed our stay. I will say that the photos are not exactly accurate. If you are looking for an isolated cabin without neighbors this is not it. There are neighbors around and you aren’t allowed to go walking through the forest. The house itself is lovely and the pool table was a big hit. Our group had a lovely time playing games around the giant table and enjoying the weather. So many windows to have open to let the breeze in!

Five stars doesn't even scratch the surface!
Spirit Hollow isn't a vacation, it's a retreat... The house was very clean, everything is supplied (except for food, of course) and there is no need to leave for anything. If you are looking for a place to unwind, watch the deer wander by, listen to the birds, soak in the jetted tub and just rest and recover from stress, this is the place for you! There are multiple deck areas around the house and each one has its own vibe. There are wild flowers, blue jays, squirrels and just plain old peace and quiet. Our kitty was even allowed to come up here with us and that was a huge bonus. Craig is a wonderful host and most certainly takes care of business. I will not hesitate to come back here. This retreat was exactly what my mind, body and soul needed. Thank you, Craig!!

The outdoor space and the peacefulness were definitely our favorite part of this place!! We enjoyed watching the chipmunks and a couple mule deer in the neighborhood. Our dogs were exhausted every night after their multiple walks and frisbee playing. Our kids were so tired they even took naps! The pool table and arcade were also a huge hit…for kids and adults alike! Plenty of indoor space as well. Kitchen had a lot of spices and various cooking items. If you have young kids, bring some non breakable plates and bowls and glasses! We thought the beds were comfy and the water pressure was not an issue for us. The only thing we had a small issue with was internet. As mentioned before, it is spotty due to location. We were able to stream movies at night but it was glitchy and slow. We had a few movies downloaded so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. Definitely not a reason to avoid this amazing property!! Craig was awesome! Great communication! And his side by side was super easy to rent! We can’t wait to come back!!
