Als u op zoek bent naar een hut met een prachtig uitzicht, gemak voor een eindeloze verscheidenheid aan activiteiten en alle voorzieningen die u wenst, hoeft u niet verder te zoeken. Onze ruime hut biedt drie woonlagen met vijf slaapkamers en drie en een halve badkamer. Er is geen detail weggelaten met onze buitenruimte die is bedoeld om te genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen, zonsopkomsten, zonsondergangen of sterrenkijken. We hebben twee dekken met veel nieuw meubilair om in te ontspannen, een buitenhouthaard, een 8-persoonsbubbelbad en een vuurkorf. Deze geweldige uitzichten kunnen ook binnen worden genoten, met een groot raam in onze woonkamer en zolder. Voor degenen die hun favoriete sportevenement niet willen missen, hebben we zeven televisies beschikbaar om te genieten van je favoriete film- of sportteam. Ook al zijn we in de bergen, we hebben geweldige wifi-service om mee te streamen, Bluetooth-speakers om buiten te genieten van muziek. Er is een natte bar met pooltafel, fussball, puzzels en spelletjes om te spelen. Onze keuken is goed uitgerust met alles wat u nodig heeft om te koken voor uw bemanning. We hebben zowel een Keurig als een standaard infuuskoffiekan. We bevinden ons heel dicht bij de Blue Ridge Parkway en de New River. Andere activiteiten die 30 minuten tot een uur rijden zijn inclusief alle skigebieden, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock. Onze hut is gunstig gelegen langs Highway 221 en is gemakkelijk te bereiken, zelfs als er veel sneeuw ligt. We hebben voldoende parkeergelegenheid op de oprit of straat boven ons huis.

From the moment we walked in, we were so excited to be there! Bear Necessity was even bigger and more beautiful than the pictures showed. Every detail was thought of, from the cozy living spaces, to the fully stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. Plenty of room in the house for everyone. Oh the views!! Waking up each morning to the mountains right outside the window was breathtaking, and in the evenings we hung out in the hot tub under the stars. It felt peaceful, private, and like a true retreat.The pool table and the space it was in was awesome for bringing everyone together for endless fun! We would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain escape. Our host was fantastic with communication from the moment of booking all the way through our stay. Bear Necessity is a must for your next mountain escape!

Amazing Views!!

We had a great time staying at this property. The home is beautiful and the views from the wrap around porch and living room are amazing!! The large windows allow nice natural light to come in. The area is quiet and nice. We encountered some minor issues but Leanna was on top of the communication and solved the issues for us. We were 15 people in total and it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We had 10 adults in our party & this house was a perfect size. Very comfortable in it allowed togetherness & places for alone time. We never felt crowded. Three full baths was a definite plus! Great Family House

We have been renting houses for our Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids for many years and this one was the best. It was very roomy. We had 15 people and it never felt crowded. The fireplace on the porch was a popular place. Loved the large patio and hot tub. The views are fantastic. The large pantry allowed us to keep all the food we brought out of the way. Plenty of parking for 5 vehicles. Can’t say enough about this rental. We will definitely do our next family gathering here again.

Great Stay, terrible communication afterwards.

The cabin was wonderful. It was beautiful and it was in accurate description. However, I got a message over a day later accusing me of having a dog in the house, and they were not pet friendly. We never had a dog in the house. We stayed in the house because we were getting married in the area. We actually live locally though and my parents live right next-door. They did not stay in the house and they watched my dog all weekend. It would not make sense for me to bring my dog to the house. The cleaning crew found one furball and they sent me a picture. They claimed that the master bedroom had hair all over it and the bedspread. They never sent me pictures of these things. They also accused me of finding dog food. They never sent me pictures of this either. I am not going to lint roll my clothes before I go into a house just because I have a husky at home and she is shedding in the fall. If I would’ve had her in the house, there would be a lot more hair and she would’ve sent me a lot more pictures. I am very disappointed with her trying to charge me extra fees because she found one fur ball from my long hair dog that I picked off my clothes when I got there. Beware of them being picky. I have over a dozen people that will testify and I am so upset that they have put this damper on my wedding weekend.

Big house, beautiful view

The gated community was easy enough to find but the house itself was up winding, curved slightly steep road and all the roads are named similar. After you find the house it is easy to find again. The house has plenty of room for everyone and seating inside and out with a beautiful view. Kitchen is large and cupboards and drawers are marked so it was easy to find things. Quiet neighborhood. Parking and driveway were less than desirable because of the steepness but there was plenty of room for our vehicles. Really cozy home, comfortable beds in a beautiful area. Communication with owner was easy and they got back to us quickly when we had questions.
