"French Country Barn Loft" Luxurious Couple's Escape on the New River

Ontsnappen naar het North Carolina High Country voor een ongekende uitstapje op de historische New River. De New River Escape Barn Lofts (2) beschikken over een prachtig uitzicht op de South Fork van de New River vanuit een zelfstandige, open concept suite bovenop een 1880s gerenoveerde melkvee. Tussen de Todd en Fleetwood ligt de weg tussen Todd en Fleetwood, waardoor roeiers, knollen en vissers rechtstreekse toegang krijgen tot de New River, fietsers en lopers toegang tot Railroad Grade Road en wandelaars toegang tot het bos achter 'The Escape'. Boekliefhebbers en ligstoelen vinden rustig terrein vol ontspannende plekken die een wereld van de wereld voelen weg van de stress van het dagelijks leven. Bij The New River Escape, streven wij ernaar onze gasten een unieke haven te bieden voor ontspanning en rust in de historische en wilde New River. Er zijn prachtige mogelijkheden in alle seizoenen van rivieractiviteiten tot mooie herfstbladeren, die naar de nabijgelegen kerstboom snijden kijken. Binnen 20 minuten van de schuur zijn goede restaurants, brouwerijen, golfbanen, wandelen en toegang tot alle App State te bieden. Skigebieden zo dicht als 35 minuten.

Zelfbediening 'French Country' loft biedt alle benodigde voorzieningen, waaronder een complete keuken, een complete badkamer, een jacuzzi met 2 personen, WiFi en een prachtig uitzicht op het platteland. De suite had een verwarmings- en koelsysteem en een gasstookkachel wacht u op koele nachten. Wij bieden u ook heerlijke beddengoed en een pluche mantel aan om na een heerlijke nachtrust te slapen. Als u niet kunt vinden wat u nodig heeft in uw loft, laat het ons dan weten en wij zullen ons best doen om u te helpen.

Little slice of heaven

My wife and I needed a place for some rest and relaxation over the July 4th holiday. This was the perfect spot. I was able to ride my bike on Railroad Grade Rd. in the am and we explored WJ and Boone in the afternoon. The location is excellent and AJ and Shane have created a serene environment that allows you to unwind and enjoy all of the beauty this area has to offer.

So relaxing!!

I haven’t had that good of sleep in forever!! So cute and calming! From the high to that tub! Loved it and the host is so friendly but also gives you your privacy! We aren’t used to that with our nosy psycho landlord who lives next door!! It was an amazing getaway and that view isn’t to bad either! Would def recommend!

Beautiful Place for a Solo or Couples Retreat

This property is so beautiful and peaceful. If you are looking for a place to get away and reset, either on your own or as a couple, I highly recommend coming here. The grounds are gorgeous. You're right on the New River and there are many places to relax on the property. There are also places to walk/hike nearby. I recommend getting all of your provisions and food before you come in so you can really unwind and enjoy this space... once you get here you won't want to leave! The French suite has amazing views, a big tub and there's a kitchen fully stocked with pots/pans and the utensils you need to make or heat up your own food. The owners are very friendly and available if you need anything but they also respect your privacy. They have two adorable dogs and a cat that might also pay you a visit when you're out and about. :) Overall, such a great experience. Don't hesitate to book! Thank you so much AJ and Shane for making my stay extra special!!

Heavenly Bliss

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The beauty of the location being nestled in the mountains set an absolute beautiful time of rest and relaxation. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged and prepared for our stay. Not having much experience staying in the mountains we found that traveling in and out of the city can be difficult at night when fog is heavy. We look forward to returning but plan on bringing our food and enjoying this property to the fullest! Thank you AJ and Shane for opening up this beautiful suite for our stay!

Spectacular Property

We loved our stay both inside and outside of the loft. Inside had comfy furniture, a great soaking tub and amazing natural light. You can watch the sunset from the tub which is amazing! Outside the property and gardens are spectacular. We enjoyed walking along the river every night! We hope to stay here again soon!

The room was absolutely gorgeous and decorated perfectly. My husband loved the seclusion and wildlife. We would visit again, but I would like to have contact information for the owner sooner (telephone number) not email/Vrbo. I think there should have been a key to the outside door as well as one to the room. Anyone can walk in. Need to get necessary information more than 3 days prior to trip. Never met owners even though the information said they would stop by.
