Een afgelegen uitje met de mogelijkheid om te verjongen of misschien om een romance nieuw leven in te blazen in een luxe studio .... Deze locatie op vier privé-hectares staat echter centraal in restaurants, winkels, wandelen en plezier in het hoge land. Deze eigenschap is de natuur op zijn best. Uw terras geeft uitzicht - en geluid - op de kreek beneden en de schoonheid van de bergen erboven, met zowel zonneschijn als een bebost gebied dat voor koele schaduw zorgt in de zomer. De lente brengt veel zangvogels en een vol bewegende luide stroom; De zomer brengt bessen, berglaurier en inheemse Rhododendron, terwijl de late zomer vlinders oplevert op een uitgestrekt gebied aan de kreek. Wandelmogelijkheden langs de Blue Ridge Parkway en NC Mountains to Sea Trail zijn een korte rit over onze heuvel en de New River is ongeveer anderhalve kilometer verderop te bereiken. Veel opties zijn beschikbaar voor restaurants op ongeveer 20 minuten afstand in Boone en in het charmante stadje West Jefferson. In de winter vindt u ski-opties op ongeveer 45 minuten afstand in Blowing Rock met Beech of Sugar Mountains verderop. De herfst in het hoge land kan zorgen voor bomen die rood, oranje en geel kleuren en frisse avonden als de zon ondergaat. The property itself was beautiful and quiet. The unit was a little tight for us older adults to move around, not much room. Also the bed for us was just not comfortable.We also did not see anywhere online that the unit did not have air. For us older adults, it just did not work.

It seemed that the owner was doing construction upstairs and they worked until midnight both nights and started early so it was very noisy, there was tape over the door knob telling us not to remove and you would not have been able to lock the door

We had a lovely couples getaway. This place is the perfect hideaway and we loved using the fireplace. The little creek is a short walk from the house and we got the blessing of seeing a few inches of snow while we were here. It was beautiful. I would love to stay again in the future!

Peaceful Getaway Retreat to Celebrate our Anniversary

This property is in the basement of the host's home. They have fixed up a very nice little apartment and made wonderful use of space. Everything we needed was included. They left information about the area which we found helpful. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the view, listening to the stream and listening to those windchimes. The windchimes may be the most beautiful I have ever heard. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if wanting to come to this area.

Comfy and Cozy Little Getaway

We spent the weekend at your wonderful rental once again and had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and comfortable. I absolutely love the wind chimes. We sat on the bench outside as the sun was setting Friday Night and listened to the creek and the wind chimes. So relaxing.

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Hidden Secret. Everything was as described and the studio was super clean. It’s perfect for a couple :) The hosts were very welcoming and responded quickly to any questions we had. The nature is absolutely beautiful and the sound of water is so soothing and relaxing. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio despite it being cold :)

Wow! What a breathtaking property!

If you want to stay in the mountains with BEAUTIFUL view, this is it!!!! I stayed here alone to explore the beauty of the mountains in NC. Rich and Pat are the hostesses with the mostesess! They were so helpful and knowledgable giving me suggestions on where to go eat, shop, and hike. I am a people person who loves relationships, so I loved feeling like I was family when I stayed here. Did I mention the beautiful property? Many of my friends asked me to share this property after they saw my social media posts.

Hidden secret

Very cozy and quiet with a beautiful view. The cat visitor was a nice touch and super cute. We had a great stay and Jefferson state park is right down the road with an amazing Mountain View. Would definitely stay again for a weekend getaway.

Wonderful spot for a quiet get away. This VRBO was convenient to several local towns and restaurants for shopping, food, and entertainment. The accommodations were fabulous and the owners were wonderful hosts. The natural areas of the property were beautiful and the views were great.
