Very beautiful intimate villa and well located, beautiful garden with swimming pool
'Villa Wolmar' is a magnificent villa with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, fitted out by an interior designer and a landscaper, is sheltered by a pretty stone wall, in a chic area.

It is located 200m walk from Wolmar beach, 2 minutes from Flic-en-Flac, very close to La Pirogue, Sugar Beach, Hilton and Sofitel hotels.

It includes an American kitchen opening onto an indoor TV lounge, a large veranda including the outdoor lounge and the dining table, the large master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom, and 2 other bedrooms each with its en-suite bathroom. following.

Villa Wolmar has 3 double beds, one of which can be converted into 2 single beds, and 1 travel cot.

The beautiful 8m x 4m swimming pool is surrounded by parasols and 6 deckchairs, a table and chairs.

A housekeeper who is also an excellent cook will be present 4 hours a day from Monday to Saturday (except public holidays).
His services are included in the price of the villa.

Great house, great location

Wonderful house and garden, great Maid service and very good cook, very helpful manager. Close to beach and away from the busy street. Would recommend it (wish we could transfer the house to our hometown). Hard to find negatives, only that the last days of our stay the neighbors had a barking dog loose in their garden day & night.

La situation en bord de mer est exceptionnelle, avec des couchers de soleil Ă  couper le souffle et une plage paisible juste devant la villa.Un des grands points forts a Ă©tĂ© la gouvernante Francesca : toujours souriante, serviable et en plus une excellente cuisiniĂšre – nous nous sommes rĂ©galĂ©s !Tout Ă©tait aussi parfaitement organisĂ© – de la rĂ©servation jusqu’à l’accueil sur place, tout s’est dĂ©roulĂ© sans accroc. Si vous cherchez le confort, la tranquillitĂ© et une touche de paradis mauricien, vous ĂȘtes au bon endroit. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Wir sind von der Villa Wolmar total begeistert. Sie ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Mauritius zu erkunden. SupermĂ€rkte, Restaurants und der Strand sind gut erreichbar. Ein Auto ist jedoch empfehlenswert. Die Villa verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine sehr gute Ausstattung und hatte alles, was wir fĂŒr unseren Urlaub brauchten. Besonders erwĂ€hnenswert ist jedoch das gute Management der Villa: Wenn wir etwas benötigt haben, hat sich Clivy sofort darum gekĂŒmmert. Unser „Highlight“ war jedoch Francesca, die Hausdame und Köchin, die sich um die Sauberkeit und um das gute Essen gekĂŒmmert hat. Great Villa for Families or three couples

We had a great stay at Villa Wolmar. We were travelling with kids and all of us enjoyed the outstandingly beautiful garden, pool and nicely furnitured veranda and indoor rooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. It was very clean. Air condition and ventilator, washing mashine and dryer are in the Villa. The maid Francesca cleaned, washed and also cooked delicious meals for us (1 day prior notice). The Villa is located in walking distance to the beach in Flic en Flac and numerous restaurants and small shops. We had a rental car for daily tours all around the island.

Fantastic!

Lovely villa - as described. Francesca, the maid was delightful and couldn’t be more helpful - she did our washing and cooked a couple of meals as well as keeping the villa nice and clean. Clivy, the property manager was on hand at all times and answered any questions immediately as well as organising transport requirements. Would highly recommend this property and hope to be back soon.

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs agrĂ©able sĂ©jour Ă  la villa Wolmar. La villa est idĂ©alement placĂ©e trĂšs proche de la plage publique de Flic en Flac et des commerces. Les chambres sont spacieuses et toutes Ă©quipĂ©es de salle de bain . Les terrasses sont spacieuses et ventilĂ©es . Le jardin aux plantes et arbres variĂ©es est trĂšs agrĂ©able. La piscine entretenue 2 fois par semaine est un atout important. Le service de mĂ©nage et cuisine de 4h/jour est un atout majeur de cette location.Merci Ă  Francesca . Nous avons aussi rĂ©servĂ© une navette de l’aĂ©roport Ă  la maison et de la maison Ă  l’aĂ©roport , un service trĂšs pratique que nous recommandons. D’aprĂšs le propriĂ©taire ,la maison Wolmar va subir une modernisation trĂšs prochainement , et c’est effectivement indispensable comme beaucoup de villas situĂ©es sous des climats tropicaux les installations ont tendance Ă  s’abimer trĂšs vite. Nous recommandons la villa Wolmar.

We loved Flic en Flaq. The Villa is in a great location. Marie Michelle the maid and Clivy the manager, were both super helpful. We have only given it three stars, as it's badly in need of refurbishment. The Villa is looking tired and far from modern. ÂŁ100k investment needed to bring up to international standard. Lots not working properly; sliding doors, lights, water leaks, electric roller blinds in main living area not working. Marie Michelle got them working, then following day stopped again. Electrics not great, there's no electrical regulation in Mauritius. Gekos everywhere, which are fine, they just made us jump! One baby scorpion in the bedroom was a bit unnerving. Kitchen has just the necessary equipment. For a Villa of this size, it needs many more accessories. The kitchen could do with a washing up bowl, a wooden spoon, new pans and an apron, for example. Beautiful, well maintained swimming pool. The patio and pool surround could benefit from being tiled. The concrete flooring is gritty. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay.

Kleine Oase nah am Ozean auf Trauminsel

Wunderschön! Eine traumhafte Oase, nah zum Ozean, wundervoll eingerichtet und architektonisch gelungen. Die Insel selbst ist ein Traum, aber das ist ja klar. Unsere Maid Michelle ist ein Schatz, hat uns köstlich kreolisch bekocht. Kokospalmen neben dem Pool, Flughunde und einheimische Vögel in den BÀumen nebenan, Sonne, karibisches Flair - was will man mehr. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, profitiert aber von seiner guten Substanz. Klare Empfehlung.

GREAT property in fab location

Fantastic 3-bed property. Rooms are huge and comfortable. The pool and garden just perfect. Location (Wolmar) is at the end of Flic en Flac with local shops, fab street food and restaurants nearby. Marie Michele cooked us fantastic local cuisine as required. Great steak at Rib n Beef, fab street food at red shack closest to the house, and amazing roti at Farata AKA Vindoda (queues can be long but it moves quickly). Must eat at Creole Shack where lovely chef prepares a menu of the day - and you help yourself to drinks from the fridge. Thanks for a wonderful stay. It was perfect!

A Pocket of Paradise

We had a great 2 week stay at Villa Wolmar in August 2022. A very quiet corner of Flic en Flac at the very edge of the Wolmar estate. 3 spacious bedrooms (the master suite and bathroom are huge), great outdoor lounge and dining area (covered with the pool central to the garden. Exactly as per the description. Marie Michel (housekeeper) came daily and we chose to use her mainly for cooking which was great. She would propose the following days dishes, take money for groceries and then prepare food for the following day which really took one headache out of a 'self catering' holiday. Very close to Flic-en-flac beach (5 mins walk) or a 5 minute drive into the centre area of Flic-en-Flac where there are a few restaurants and shops and a nice busy beach. We had a care so spent our two weeks exploring all over the island and Villa Wolmar was the perfect base.

Voici donc l’apprĂ©ciation en mode synthĂ©tique, nombre de caractĂšres oblige 
 Points moins bons. ‱ PropretĂ© globalement trĂšs bonne et pas simple que ce soit impeccable vu l’ouverture vers l’extĂ©rieur. ‱ L’allumage du barbecue et les 2 pĂšse-bagages ne fonctionnaient pas. ‱ L’entreprise en charge de la piscine ne se donnait pas Ă  fond lorsque nous n’étions pas prĂ©sents. ‱ Le prix de certaines choses futiles (pastilles lave-vaisselle et sacs poubelles) pourrait ĂȘtre ajoutĂ© simplement dans le prix de la location. Points trĂšs bons ‱ Contact excellent et rassurant avec le propriĂ©taire, en charge de la partie « commerciale ». ‱ Partie « opĂ©rationnelle » gĂ©rĂ©e de Clivi avec un professionalisme remarquable. ‱ ArrivĂ©e sans problĂšme, Clivi Ă©tait prĂ©sente avec Marie-MichĂšle, employĂ©e de maison Ă  raison de 4 heures par jour. 1Ăšre impression trĂšs bonne avec une maison sĂ©curisĂ©e par un portail Ă©lectrique. La plage n’est pas la plus jolie de l’Ile et surtout en raison des coraux sur la plage et dans les 1er mĂštres de la mer qui ne rendent pas idĂ©al la promenade et la baignade pieds nus. Elle est cependant trĂšs proche de la maison et de plusieurs restaurants et bars. A 50m un petit supermachĂ© bien pratique Ă  des prix trĂšs raisonnables. ‱ La location comprend 4 heures d’une employĂ©e Ă  domicile qui, en complĂ©ment du nettoyage, pourra prendre en charge les repas. Une entreprise entretient la piscine (2 fois par semaine) et une autre celui des espaces verts (1 fois tous les 15). En +, intervention d’un prestataire pour la destruction des insectes. ‱ Concernant les animaux, rien de bien mĂ©chant pour les insectes Ă  l’exception des moustiques. Mise Ă  disposition des appareils Ă©lectriques avec plaquettes insecticides. La journĂ©e, moineaux et des menĂątes. Le soir, chauve-souris, venue d’une petite grenouille et de nombreux lĂ©zards sur les plafonds. Nous sommes Ă  l’Ile Maurice ! ‱ Maison trĂšs correctement Ă©quipĂ©e : jolie piscine, climatisation, rafraichissement naturel, transats, etc. ‱ Caution restituĂ©e avant votre dĂ©part. ‱ Une derniĂšre chose, le propriĂ©taire a acceptĂ© que nous restions jusqu’à notre dĂ©part Ă  l’aĂ©roport.
