'Our friends vary in type of accommodation they prefer and Spear Creek caters for us all from tents to bungalows. We enjoyed a weekend (some a little longer) and the two walks on the property, sunset and good times around the camp fire plus a few took their 4WDs out for a spin. The morning coffee van was also a winner, as were the friendly staff there to help when ever needed.I had forgotten it was possible to escape to the Southern Flinder Ranges so easily - highly recommend if you need a break...

'Acacia Cottage was lovely with a stunning view of the landscape. We wanted a taste of 'real Australia' and definitely got to get away from it all for a couple of nights. Visited Orrorro for a day which was lovely (check out Maggie Rendezvous cafe) even if it was on a road not really meant for a 2WD. Gorgeous sunsets, absolutely lovely people who run it - wine, beer and basic supplies all available from the on-site shop.'
