Our most secluded cabin, this cozy Tiny House retreat is designed for couples seeking privacy, romance, and a true East Texas nature getaway. Nestled deep in the woods on a private 22-acre property near Lake Palestine, this cabin offers peaceful seclusion while remaining close to local conveniences and attractions.

The highlight of the stay is the PRIVATE HOT TUB located right on the porch, perfect for soaking under the stars in total privacy. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to unplug and reconnect, this cabin is ideal for a romantic lake cabin getaway in Texas.

The Cabin

The cabin features a warm, intimate layout with a full kitchen, cozy living area, and an open loft bedroom with a king bed, accessed by a steep staircase.
⚠️ Important: The loft and stairs are *not recommended for guests with mobility issues, small children, or anyone uncomfortable climbing steep stairs or ladders.

A full-size sleeper sofa with extra linens is also available. While the cabin can accommodate a small family, it is best suited for couples and romantic escapes, as the space is compact for more than two adults.

While the cabin itself is very secluded, guests also enjoy access to shared outdoor amenities across the property:

Walking trails – scenic, hilly woodland trails leading to two natural lake access points

Lake Palestine access & small fishing pier (swim or fish at your own risk; natural shoreline, no beach)

Outdoor natural cold plunge – chemical-free, mineral-rich well water (seasonal; limited availability)

Two natural ponds – peaceful areas for exploring and relaxing (no fishing at this time)

A True East Texas Nature Experience

This is a rural, wooded Lake Palestine vacation rental offering an authentic East Texas environment. Expect wildlife, wildflowers, and seasonal changes. You may encounter bugs, spiders, poison ivy, chiggers (May–August), snakes, deer, rabbits, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, roadrunners, and other native wildlife.

We are committed to preserving the natural Texas ecosystem through organic land practices and minimal chemical use. During growing seasons, parts of the property may appear wild or overgrown — this is intentional and part of the experience.

🦅 Bald Eagles are frequently seen in the fall and winter, offering a rare and memorable sight for nature lovers.

Hosts on Property

We live on the same private 22-acre property in the original farmhouse and may be seen tending gardens or maintaining the land. We are nearby if needed, but we respect guest privacy. The cabin itself remains very secluded.

Location & Getting Around

Most guests will need a car. Free parking is available on-site at the cabin.

GPS does not accurately map the cabins. Detailed arrival instructions will be provided before your stay. The property is located off FM 2661 on a private road, and each cabin has its own designated driveway or trail.

We’re excited to host you! Please take a moment to review our house rules to help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.
The Cold Plunge is temporarily undergoing some reconstruction and will not be available the month of April 2026.

About the Space:
Our cozy cabin is ideal for couples or small families. Due to its size and layout, we recommend our property for guests twenty two years and older.

Safety First:

Loft Ladder & Loft Area Safety Policy

The loft sleeping areas in our cabins are accessed by ladder and are part of a lightweight loft structure designed for cabin use. In accordance with ladder manufacturer ratings and structural safety guidelines, the maximum user weight for both the ladder and loft area is 275 pounds.

For safety reasons, any guest exceeding 275 pounds may not use the ladder or occupy the loft area.

Guests should exercise caution when climbing or descending the ladder and maintain three points of contact at all times. The loft ladder may not be suitable for young children, individuals with mobility limitations, or anyone uncomfortable using ladders.

By booking this property, guests acknowledge and agree to follow all loft and ladder safety guidelines. Use of the ladder and loft area is at the guest’s own risk.

Be mindful while exploring the trails and lake areas, Use life vests when entering the lake access places. Swim & fish at your own risk.

Shared & Private Spaces:

The central hot tub (shared by 2 cabins), trails, and lake areas are shared among the cabins. Two cabins share the central Hot Tub. All cabins share the Lake access, fishing spots. pond areas, cold Plunge and disc golf course. Please be courteous of other guests at all times.

The grill and fire pit are private to each cabin.

Do not place the grill on the porch, and never leave a fire unattended.

Guest Conduct:

No smoking, parties, or unregistered guests allowed, even for day use. Please ask if you are having visitors.

The hot tubs are for adults only.

Pet Policy:
Due to the nature of our construction and the owner`s severe skin allergies, we cannot allow any animals—no exceptions. We personally handle most of the cleaning and laundry, so thank you for understanding and respecting this rule.
