White River Retreat terug op Crooked Creek! Geweldig vissen / zwemmen!

Breng de hele familie naar dit aangepaste blokhut op een 14 hectare groot stukje hemel in de Ozark Mountains op de beroemde blauwe lint smallmouth basstroom "Crooked Creek" van Arkansas Just (2) buigt omhoog van de samenvloeiing van de White River. Vissen, zwemmen, kajakken, snorkelen op onze 684 ’kreekgevel. De kinderen en het hele gezin zullen het geweldig hebben. Het waterniveau op de kreek fluctueert voortdurend, uitsluitend afhankelijk van de stroomopwaarts ontvangen regenval. Vele malen heb ik mijn 20 ’topwaterboot onder het huis aangemeerd (lente). Anderen hebben we vanaf de lagere toegang vanaf de HWY 101 terug naar het huis (laat in de lente, zomer) gekayakt. En andere keren genieten we gewoon van zwemmen en snorkelen rond de natuurlijke bronnen die de kreek voeden en vissen waden. Ranchette White River toegang is ongeveer (4) mijl verderop, dus neem uw boot mee als u wilt vissen op forel, of we kunnen u in contact brengen met een van de vele gidsen in het gebied die u direct kunnen ophalen de helling volgens de beet. Huis accommodaties staat 10, en dat is met behulp van de log futon. Er zijn ook (2) kinderbedjes en slaapzakken in de kelderkast. Huis is ongeveer 4000 m² met (3) niveaus. Bubbelbad in het hoofdbad, (6) persoons bubbelbad op het lagere niveau. Dit blokhut bevindt zich aan het einde van de weg en achter een afgesloten hek, het is erg afgelegen. Refined Rustic Retreat

We shared the cabin with another family and it was simply splendid. The Cabin was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Every amenity one could want with a great stove, oven , grill, and outdoor fire pit gave plenty of dinner options. Great big kitchen perfect for entertaining. A bit steeper climb down to the creek than we were expecting but totally worth the effort. Breathtaking views, crystal clear water, all sorts of nature and animal life, and of course a couple of fun fish! What a great escape from the city life. Would highly recommend.

Quiet and Beautiful Placd

If you are looking for a quiet secluded nice cabin this is it. The cabin was extremely well equipped. It is literally at the end of the road. We were there for 4 days and only saw anyone when we ran to town. We spent hours in the creek. Caught several fish (no giants), but had a blast. Bring some good hiking shoes if you hike the creek trail. Afterabout the 3rd trip i convinced my wife to let me drive down. My AWD Santafe made it no problem. The hot tub was great to relax in theevening after playing all day in the water. Like i saidif seclusion, peace, and quiet are what you want this is it. Take off your watch and leave the phone in the car.

Cabin on the creek

This cabin and the A-Frame that is being constructed are on one of the best parts of this creek. We fished @ the cabin, from the cabin to the mouth of the White river and back up to the A-Frame. We caught and released at least 15 smallmouth in the 2-1/2 pound range. We also fished from the 101 bridge back to the cabin. The log cabin had plenty of room for 8 adults without feeling crowded at all.

I can not express how delighted we were with our recent stay at the Crooked Creek Log House. The house was amazing. It was precisely as advertised, extremely well stocked, comfortable and inviting. The owners were an absolute delight to work with, they were quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The house, amenities, everything were well thought out, everything focused on the comfort of the guests. We would not hesitate in returning to this property again, and in fact, look forward to their new property they are opening at Crooked Creek! I highly recommend this property!

This property was even more than what we hoped for. Everything was as described but better. The property itself is so beautiful that you relax as soon as you get there. Perfect balance

We had ages 17-70. Perfect balance of playing games in the bottom level to watching football on the main floor. The master was upstairs quiet and away from everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. The river was right there. Beautiful property and a great host. We left jewelry and the host is promptly mailing To us! Highly recommend!!!

This is a beautiful house at a great spot on Crooked Creek. My family had a wonderful time exploring the creek, fishing, and hanging out at the house. The kitchen is well equipped and the host does a great job communicating and making sure you've got everything you need.

An amazing stay

The home was amazing and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It had the best beds and pillows of any rental that we have ever stayed at. Everyone was able to catch fish in the creek. I would recommend this place to any group. From breakfast for 10 to steaks on the grill to s'mores at night this place had us covered. The host was more then helpful

Perfect vacation rental

What a great getaway family gathering! All 9 of us enjoyed both the “cabin” and the surroundings. We were all comfortable in the great room, as well as our bedrooms. Plenty of room for everyone to gather or have some alone time indoors or out. The kitchen is more than well stocked with every cooking utensil you could ask for as well as dishes & glasses. There is a crazy amount of firewood for both the great room fireplace and the fire pit outside. There is a beautiful view of the creek from the main deck and there is a hot tub on the lower deck off the play room. This is the cleanest rental I have ever experienced. I wish I could borrow their housekeeper! To add to our experience, the host was so very accommodating. He even checked in on us several times to be sure we didn’t need anything. If there were more stars, I would rate this a 10.

Great Property for Large Family

Very comfortable real log house that is well designed, well maintained and well stocked. Beautiful rural setting in the woods on Crooked Creek. Hot tub is a plus. Our stay was in cool weather, and we enjoyed the wood stove/fireplace. Owner was easy to communicate with.

Beautiful Cabin On The Creek.

The cabin was great. Plenty of room for a big group with multiple thermostats which is nice. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils and cookware to do anything. Crooked Creek is an easy walk down the hill and there are definitely fish in there. There is also a White River boat ramp very close to the cabin, so no need to drive all the way around town to find a put-in. I highly recommend staying at this cabin.

We absolutely loved the Crooked Creek Cabin. The host was very accommodating and responsive to questions/recommendations. The home was clean and had great amenities. The kids especially liked the pool table and checkers. The property is beautiful and close to multiple river access points for fishing. This was a very special trip for our family and we hope to come back soon!
