The location is excellent. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast is fabulous. Great trattoria nearby. It’s a comfortable hotel in a traditional style. Lovely building. Nice bar. I travelled alone and felt very comfortable in the lobby/ bar relaxing with an Aperol spritz in my own.

Wonderful and historic place in the heart of Florence . Staff makes you welcome from the minute you arrive. Very clean and well appointed rooms with antique furniture and modern marble bathrooms . We were escorted to our room and the front desk staff really helped out with translating info on our list luggage and speaking to the airport lost luggage staff on our behalf. The only thing that lacked was providing an additional full-sized luggage stand/bench upon 1st & 2nd request.

The front desk staff at Bernini Palace were lovely and made this stay feel very personal. They were very helpful with reservations and advice, and left me a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The hotel is of course in a historic building which itself was quite interesting-> I wish more information was available on the walls or in the hallways to explain the different rooms.

Emplacement exceptionnel à 30m du Palais Vecchio. Direction et personnel réactifs pour un changement de chambre pour un pb technique (qui aurait du être identifié avant l'attribution). Restaurant interne de bon niveau. Un séjour globalement très réussi.

I have vacationed in Florence many times and decided to try a different hotel from our usual beautiful place near the Duomo. Selected the Bernini because of VIP recognition. Upon check-in, I asked about room upgrades, I booked 2 rooms. They provided a number of options for upgrades along with hefty prices. Obviously there was plenty availability. I opted out. Normally, a gifted bottle of wine is given with VIP stays, especially when no room upgrade is given. A welcome drink was provided upon check-in. The hotel has an internal evaluation of services after check in. After reading my comments about the isolated old rooms we received and lack of VIP benefits and leaking shower they offered an upgrade. I turned it down because of the hassle of relocating and only 1 night left. The hotel and lobby are very nicely decorated for the holidays. Staff are all very professionally dressed but not always pleasant. Some at times are a bit rude. The location was good and so was breakfast. I would not stay here again mainly for their lack of customer service and no VIP benefits.

We are sorry that we fell short of meeting your expections in the regard of the room, because our team inform you that the upgrade is subject to availability and even if the standard room typology was chosen, superior room typologies were offered with a supplement much lower than the official rates. Hower, when we offered the free upgraded, you chose not to change. For the wine issue, at the check in, we are sorry that you didn’ t mentioned that you received a welcome drink instead the complimentary Voucher valid for 1 flask of Chianti DOCG selection Hotel Bernini Palace Firenze for the the bottle of wine to be served at the bar or to take the flask home as a souvenir of your holiday in Tuscany, we would certainly have the pleasure to assist you immediately.
