Het hotel is wat oudbollig. Ik was niet helemaal tevreden over de kamer die wij toegewezen kregen toen we aankwamen. De muren waren beschadigd, de kamer oogde heel somber met de lelijke gele kleur op de muren met de dezelfde kleur tegels op de vloer. Ook de kleine badkamer en de smoezelige kleine tv uit het jaar 1995 maakte dat het allemaal tegen viel. Misschien zijn mijn moeder en ik wel verwend wat hotelkamers betreft, dus ik heb bij de receptie aangegeven dat ik niet tevreden was over de kamer. De volgende ochtend kregen wij meteen een nieuwe kamer aangeboden (dezelfde dag was er geen kamer beschikbaar). Ik vond het echt heel netjes geregeld. De kamers waren wel heel schoon en we kregen elke dag schone lakens. Comfort wat dat betreft was super! het personeel was ook erg aardig, bij het ontbijt was de dame ook erg behulpzaam. Toen wij de laatste ochtend om half 6 uit het hotel vertrokken stond er een fijn ontbijt pakketje klaar.

Nostalgie
Keurig hotel met een mooi uitzicht over de Arno. Vlakbij de Santa Croce alwaar buitengewoon goede restaurants te vinden zijn. Goede prijs - kwaliteit - verhouding.

Great location and excellent breakfast. Didn’t like the fact that they didn’t have usb ports built in the outlets (which other hotels have), so we did not have enough plug adapters to charge all of our cell phones overnight. Our triple room faced the back so it was very quiet at night. Beds were a bit firm but comfortable enough. Loved the close restaurants and salumerias on Via Neri. So easy to find after a day of sightseeing since it’s on the Arno river and 2 blocks from the Uffizi museum. Staff wasn’t very helpful when I mentioned that the tv remote control was missing after housekeeping made up the beds one day. They did not replace it before we left. A minor issue, but it was frustrating. Loved the thick robes and slippers. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

Conveneintly located in the old city. Close to major attractions and shopping venues. We loved the city and its photo opportunities. We did have a pick pocket experience that was mostly due to our negligence. It goes to show you how easy we made it for these people.

A real gem! Perfect location - quiet, yet close to all attractions. Friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Housekeeping was one of the best we've encountered.

We stayed at Hotel Balestri for a week. The hotel is very well situated for all the main tourist attractions in the city. We had a fourth floor, corner room with open views both across the Arno and down to the Ponte Vecchio. The room had excellent soundproofing and double glazing, so we slept very well on a comfortable bed with no disturbance. The room and the rest of the hotel was immaculate. The staff were all very pleasant and efficient. There is a bar and a bright, welcoming breakfast room. As we left they were building a deck outside in the piazza as an extension of the bar, which should prove to be an added bonus. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.

Right off the Arno, but off the Main Street of shopping. Nice breakfast and bar (evening) option. Room were clean. A bit small. Would stay here again but perhaps in a suite to better accommodate the space for a small a family.

Very nice rooms right next to the river with nice views. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location was close to some nice galleries and good restaurants. One odd thing is that there are large Goofy statues in the lobby and cafe. Apparently they are from the owner's private collection.

View of the river was excellent and our room had two balconies! Room was clean, hotel was in downtown, access to a wonderful restaurant was 2 minutes walking distance away. Point Vecchio and Uffizi gallery also just a few minutes walking distance. Very, very happy with our experience there. Breakfast was delicious with many choices, including hot ones. And cappuccino every morning!

We really enjoy the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. Within walking distance to all attractions. We couldn’t use the shower properly so you may need to ask for help… we didn’t and showers were uncomfortable to take lol. Breakfast was ok. Staff was kind and helpful.

The room was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were centralized and were able to walk to almost everywhere we needed to visit. There is a great pizza place just 3 mins away. We enjoyed the our 6 nights and will definitely return.

My wife and I loved this hotel. The staff were amazing and always there if you needed absolutely anything. The breakfast in the morning was great and the team there were very friendly too. Hotel is in a perfect location close to everything you need. The room and the bathroom were great and modern! I would highly recommend this hotel!

I highly recommend the Hotel Balestri. The staff is very courteous and helpful with great recommendations. The rooms were great - definitely get a river view room if you can - and the location along the river is quieter while still being very close to the main center of Florence. I will stay here again when I come back to Florence.

Hotel excelente. Localização perfeita. Longe suficiente da área mais tumultuada e barulhenta, mas próxima de todos os pontos Turísticos. Bem próximo da Galleria Uffizi e é possível conhecer todos os principais pontos turísticos a pé. Recomendamos muito o quarto com sacada e vista para o rio, que é espaçoso, otima roupa de cama e vista espetacular para o rio. Vale muito a pena. O estacionamento é com manobrista, que leva o carro para fora da ztl e com preço bem alto. pagamos 45 euros por dia. O café da manhã é ok. Nada de espetacular, mas tem o básico. Como sugestão temos de melhorarem a iluminação no banheiro. Era bem escuro, impossível de se maquiar nele.

Gentile Michele,la ringraziamo per aver soggiornato presso la nostra struttura e siamo contenti che ha apprezzato la camera ed il servizio.Per quanto riguarda la colazione ci spiace apprendere che non sia stata di suo gradimento. Mi permetto solo di dire che i nostri prodotti provengono da fornitori che non posso menzionare, ma di prima qualità a livello Toscano e Nazionale.Solo per chiarezza al nostro buffet abbiamo vari tipi di salumi, formaggi, vari tipi di latte, probiotici, yogurt, succhi, prosecco, acqua, yogurt a basso contenuto di grassi, marmellate a basso contenuto di zuccheri , cereali di vario tipo, uova strapazzate, bacon e wurstel, vari tipi di pane, brioches fresche, due torte e tante altre cose.
