The hotel room was good. The toilet wouldn’t stop flushing though and the outlet frame kept coming off the wall they still worked just wasn’t ideal. The breakfast included was nice though I wish the breakfast had more selection

Excellent location, very close to train station, Duomo, shopping and restaurants. No elevator, lots of steps, breakfast was very basic and not many choices. Very small clean rooms but the strangest thing was the shower with all glass facings the bedroom, no privacy whatsoever if traveling with someone, unless you don't mind them watching you shower!

Our host was wonderful. The room, while not palatial was adequate and probably consistent with similar hotels throughout Europe in amenities. WiFi worked fine, Zero English TV (CNN or BBC would have been nice). No elevator, but thankfully the young gentleman readily volunteered to move our backs up/down the 3 stories to our room. Bed was fine, bathroom adequate. Breakfast was OK; breads, asst meats/cheeses, yogurt, cereal and boiled eggs, with a hostess manning the Espresso machine. All in all, I’d stay here again. The location can’t be beat! Leaving luggage before and after checkout was no problem.

We loved our stay here! The location is outstanding - just 5 minute walk from the Firenze SM train station and you step out onto the Main Street for a 3 minute walk to the Duomo. It was quiet, comfortable and had an outstanding free breakfast buffet. What more could you want.

Old building with tall rooms. Staff friendly and very helpful. I will go again. The area is a tourist area so there are crowds but the room was not noisy.

The room was clean and exactly what was expected. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in terms of mapping out the city on a paper map. Breakfast was included with the stay and was delicious. I felt safe during the evening with the double entry way from the street.

Poor ventilation, dirty carpet on stairs should be changed or removed. Stuff was pleasant and offered help to carry luggage upstairs, because no elevator . However, the location was very convenient

The manager and staff at Hotel Lombardia were very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed. The location near the tram from the Florence Airport made arriving and departing very convenient. We were just a few short blocks from the iconic Duomo.

Absolutely perfect location for all the sites in Florence & it's a few mins walk from the SM Novello railway station. Hotel staff were excellent. The hotel has no lift. Room was spotless & cleaned daily, bed was comfy. The TV in the room had Netflix & Prime, just needed to log into them. Breakfast was basic continental but all fresh. If coming back to Florence i would use again.

Our top choice in Florence
I had a wonderful stay at this centrally located hotel. Its proximity to the train station (7 minutes) and major attractions (10 minutes walk) made exploring easy. The vibrant nightlife and abundance of restaurants nearby added to the convenience. The inclusive breakfast offered a wide variety, and the clean room with its unique glass shower setup was perfect for couples. Free WiFi and efficient air conditioning were a plus. Lawrence at the reception was incredibly helpful, providing a detailed map of Florence and useful insights. A great choice for a memorable stay!

The property has security gate and door lock at night for which you are given the code because the desk is unattended after 8p. Room was comfortable with modern amenities but historic details like the floor. The property condition needs some improvement or repair and maintenance (paint, trim replacements). Our first night the shower wouldn’t drain and even backed up but the desk attendant drove in to plunge and snake the drain to eventually fix the problem. There was no other room available to move to. We were refunded all the local tax for our entire stay for the inconvenience. AC worked well. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Location was very convenient to the train station and a short quick walk to the Duomo. No elevator but the desk attendant carried our bags. Service was excellent.

The room was nice but we were on the fourth floor, and there was no elevator for our luggage. However, the staff was willing to bring our luggage to and from our room. The beds were big and nice but very hard. Every time we walked into our room it smelled like mold/sewage which we suspect was from the shower drain. The vanity light above the sink was missing (the light in the room was overall dim) and we had to ask for more toilet paper. The best part about this property besides its location, was the assistance and care of the front desk. They provided a map with multiple recommendations for food and activities, and answered any questions we had regarding transportation and other needs.
