Cozy Cabin
This log cabin was perfect for our family Christmas. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Super cozy and warm. Beds comfy. The large fenced backyard was enjoyed by our small dog. The only thing missing was SNOW!

Back to Nature- Family Gathering!
Our stay was AMAZING! The home is nestled in a quiet and beautiful location. Every morning we had a family of deer visiting the “Park-like” property. We all have a great appreciation and admiration of wildlife, so the deer’s visit made our stay extra special! The house was cozy, and had all the amenities one could ask for. We would DEFINITELY stay on this property again!

Bitteroot Valley Adventure
The property is a charming log cabin home nestled in the Bitteroot valley not far from Missoula, and provided everything we needed. It’s location offers easy access to local hiking trails and scenic drives. My party took advantage of its proximity to the Idaho border by driving through a portion of the Nez Perce and Clearwater National Forests. To the east is the town of Philipsburg, a living history of the old west with a nearby ghost town recounting the boom and bust of the mining industry during the late 19th century. The area also offers well documented history of the Lewis and Clark expedition. The surrounding mountains provide stunning views for a memorable Montana experience.

The Bitteroot VRBO was wonderful! Beautiful house and comfortable- the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed hiking, fishing, the Hamilton Rodeo and also horseback riding in Lolo. Thank you.

Relaxing...
This cabin is perfection plain and simple. If you are looking for something quiet, relaxing with the feeling of seclusion this is it. While there are plenty of activities and restaurants in the area you do not guilty staying in and just enjoying the property itself. We spent 2 weeks there and could have gone a lot longer if we could have. The cabin has everything you need, linens, cookware, etc and was very clean when we arrived. Looking forward to staying there next year.

What a beautiful property and clean comfortable cabin. We had fun watching the birds and chipmunks from the beautiful sitting room with windows. And deer from the porch! We had an extra adult one evening due to travel plans changing; very accommodating.

Breathtaking
We absolutely loved this property! Coffee on the back porch and cocktails on the side porch. Didn’t see a soul unless we went into town which made it so peaceful. The house is very well appointed and classy. Could not have asked for more!

Awesome cabin in an awesome location
This is the second time we've stayed at this cabin and would come back again. The only thing to be aware of is that the openness of the 2 upstairs bedrooms makes it easy to hear noises between the two. But that is a very minor thing, really enjoy the location and how easy it is to get to various hikes in the bitterroots. Jack was very responsive when we had questions. Love this place!

A spectacular property in a breathtaking location
The cabin is very spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The front and back yards are massive, with numerous diverse trees. The location is perfect for long walks with amazing views of the valley in all directions. We enjoyed the proximity to Missoula, Hamilton, and countless trails that can be accessed from the highway. I very much hope that we can make it back some time.

Great Stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the property - it was exactly as advertised. We were 4 friends fishing for 2 weeks and it was a great location, neighborhood, nice outdoor space and the house had everything we could have possibly needed. The only advice I'd give to the owners(to be clear this is NOT a negative critique) is to convert one of the sofas to a pull out or futon to add just a little bit more sleeping space for another person or 2!

Peaceful and beautiful
What an amazing piece of property! So peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed! The best part is the awesome deck! We could’ve stayed out there all day, every day. We had a little family of deer greet us every morning and evening. We miss this place so much already! It was conveniently located for us to explore Montana and surrounded by beauty. If we ever make it back to Montana, this is our place! Thank you Jack for sharing your beautiful place with us!

This beautiful log cabin is so incredible and the hosts were incredibly friendly and informative. We walked in and had our breath taken away - it was just perfect. Close enough to many hiking trails but tucked away under the trees and off the main road. So grateful we found it, we'll be back someday!

Lovely property
Very clean and quiet. Extremely relaxing and house had everything we needed. I bake a lot and house had lots of supplies that I utilized. Beds were comfortable and ac was a plus. Lots of quaking aspens made for a lovely sound with afternoon breezes. Owners were available via phone if needed.

Absolutely loved this cabin!
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was just what we needed to get away from our busy everyday lives. We had to cut our trip 1 day short due to a family emergency but we will for sure be back. We would love to bring our kids here, they would love it! Beautiful neighborhood away from the city and the 30 minute drive to Missoula was not bad at all. If you are looking for a cute quiet cabin look no further, this one is beautiful inside and out!

Our stay at Wildbird Lane was perfect! Autumn in the Bitterroot Valley is the best! We thoroughly enjoyed the yard to have the grandkids run around, the porch and patio to enjoy the serenity of the neighborhood (and deer), the fireplace for the cool nights and the kitchen for cooking family dinners. The home is close to a great grocery store in Stevensville, Missoula for anything more you may need, and of course great hiking! Jack was very easy to reach, check in a breeze, the home was clean and very comfortable. We are sure to be back to visit our family again and stay at the Wildbird Lane home!

A True Montana Home!
This house was more than we expected! The photos don't relay the cozy cabin feel this place has. It was so relaxing to stay in this home when it was super hot all week (temps reaching 100) because not only is it air conditioned, but there's a wonderful deck and sunroom that allows you to be indoors or outdoors depending on the time of day. We also appreciated the beautifully kept grounds -- grass and ponderosas. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make simple meals during the week. The level of cleanliness is top notch, and I should know, I used to own a vacation rental cleaning company. There's a sectional couch and two couches in the sunroom, so plenty of space to stretch out. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area. Lots of hiking trails within a 30-60 minute drive, including Blotchet Canyon. A great place to vacation! Thank you for opening your home to us, Jack.

We had a super week in Florence. We enjoyed the solitude of the property as well as the wraparound deck, patio and wildlife. Missoula was a short 20 minute drive and you are right on the edge of the Lolo National Forest. We look forward to visiting again!!
