Perfect Location
This was our first time to Firenze and we lucked out with this location. This apartment is perfect for a family or friends traveling together. Very quiet inside and on the beautiful terrace. The terrace truly was our favorite spot. One day on our trip there was light rain, and sitting on the covered terrace with a panino, antipasto and wine was a dream. There is no elevator but we didn't mind the stairs just something to consider. We will be back.

Central location in Florence
We loved our stay! The location can’t be beat for walking to all of the sites, shops and food. Plenty of room for our party of 5. It is a lot of stairs (52), but but we knew that prior and it is worth it for the location. We especially loved the private terrace.

Florence Spanish Step
This apartment was such a great home to my family of 5 adults. Very spacious and right in the middle of the historic city center and close to museums and the riverfront. The owner greeted us upon check-in and gave us a tour of the unit and made sure any questions were answered. The owner provided an information book custom made for visitors, some coffee pods, candies and a bottle of wine! This was our final city in Italy before heading back and the nicest decorated and furnished VRBO we stayed in during the 2 weeks. I loved spending time on the terrace with the family and people watching from the huge windows. We took an Uber XL from the train station however walked to the station when we left Florence as it is at most 20 minute and the Uber ride was not any faster than our walk due to tourist walking in the streets and one way roads. You won’t be disappointed staying at this VRBO.

Incredible Place- In the heart of Florence!
This was an exceptional property. The host family goes back to the 15th century with their family tree on the wall in the entry. It’s spacious, clean and the best part was the outdoor terrace! You could not find a more centrally located apartment (it’s literally across from All'Antico Vinaio, the most famous sandwich shop in Florence which has lines that go down the block at all hours.) Being in the heart of downtown Florence means that it is loud until late into the night. Fortunately, I read a former visitor’s review which said to bring earplugs if you are sleeping in the master bedroom. That was incredibly valuable advice and a small price to pay for an incredible place!

First time in Florence
This apartment was clean, well equipped and is in a fantastic location. Lorenzo was a wonderful host. Met us at the door and even helped us with our luggage. Our party included myself, my husband my two daughters and my Mother. Plenty of room, beds and space. Beds were comfy with plenty of extra blankets and towels. My mom is 89 almost 90 and was able to navigate the stairs but she is in amazing health and is fit. Stairs maybe an issue for some. I would 100% stay in this apartment again if I am lucky enough to return to Italy.

3 Wonderful Days in Florence
La Terrazza exceeded all of our expectations. The apartment is very large and extremely comfortable. The outdoor patio was a huge bonus for us... even with light rain we sat under the awning... sipping coffee or cocktails. The location is perfect... with shops and restaurants right out the front door. As we expected, with this convenient location come night noise. We simply used ear plugs. We highly recommend this apartment to others!

Wonderful home for walking in Florence
This home is very close all of my he sites from the Accademia and Duomo to the Uffizi and Pitti Palace. The home is a few doors down from All’ Antico Vinaio sandwich shop Gelateria Dei Neri. You have numerous restaurants, cafes and bars. Our favorite restaurant La Buchette is highly recommend. Be sure you are in good shape to climb stairs as their are several flights. Lovely home.

Florence Apartment
The picture in the listing is actually the veranda off the living room. The apartment is actually on the 3rd floor of a building on a very very busy street. Had to carry our bags up several flights. Owner met us to check in. Very minimal information was provided about the area. Need to provide more provisions. Only provided a couple of coffee pods (we were only staying 2 nights so weren't going to go out and buy a big box). Should provide a couple per adult a day. Paper towels and water should also have been provided. Only one small bottle of water was in the apartment. Furniture in living area was comfortable but could use some cleaning. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was very clean. Bathrooms could use a little TLC/updating. Overall the apartment was close to everything and comfortable.

Good morning. We are very sorry to read your disappointment and we are pleased to clarify some points which we hope will also be of help to you guests in choosing your next accommodation. Our apartment is located on the second floor (and not the third, as you wrote) of a 1400s building in the center of Florence. In the announcement it is clearly indicated that we do not have a lift and, for clarity towards our guests, we have always also published photos of the stairs, so that everyone can freely decide whether to choose us or not. As regards supplies, we would like to point out that ours is a holiday home, not a hotel that also sells services. Nothing outside the structure is provided in the holiday home. We like to welcome our guests with a welcome kit, so that they can have a snack or drink a coffee, wine or simply a sip of water upon their arrival without having to immediately go and look for a supermarket. But this is our initiative. It's not a necessary thing. I am therefore sorry to read that there did not seem to be enough amenities which in reality are not really foreseen, but simply offered by us who care about a warm welcome. Having said that, we will take inspiration from your observations to try to improve ourselves even more In the hope of hosting you again in Florence, we thank you and greet you cordially Elisa and Lorenzo Frizzoni

This is a perfect accommodation from which to explore Florence
The location of this apartment could not have been better. It is a matter of a few minute walk to many of the great attractions of Florence – Uffizi and Accademia museums, Ponta Vechio, Piazza della Signoria and Piazza di Santa Croce. Lorenzo was very easy to communicate with and met us at the apartment when we arrived to explain the details of the apartment. The apartment was very comfortable and large enough for us. Be prepared to walk up about 50 steps as there is no lift but that is a minor inconvenience considering the quality and location of the apartment.

Our stay was wonderful despite the scorching August heat. Communication with El was prompt. Lorenzo let us drop off our luggage early to accommodate our schedule. The location is perfect for getting to all popular destinations. More than enough room for four adults to spread out. Air conditioning was fantastic in every room. We will definitely stay again on our next visit.

Lovely apartment
Lovely spacious apartment on a small but extremely busy street just past the Uffizi. We were a group of six family members, three adults and three children, and we stayed here quite comfortably; we could have easily accommodated one more. We took breakfast on the private patio, making coffee and eggs in the well appointed kitchen. We used the laundry machine and hung to dry. The location was fantastic. If you are sensitive to noise at night the front bedroom is a little loud from the street noise.

Have traveled to Europe many times and this stay was gorgeous. Great location. So clean!!!!! Lovely patio area. Host met us personally on site and showed us the amenities. Two nice bedrooms to function as “master rooms”, a small upstairs loft where our daughter stayed, pull out sofa worked well too. Shared bathrooms are helpful for a group. Would put this at the top of the list for sure!

Authentic beautiful home in heart of Florence
This home was a principal reason we had a splendid time in Florence. We enjoyed the comfortable patio, the well-stocked kitchen, the charming decor and many books, the air conditioning, the central location. The host was very welcoming, gracious, friendly and always responded quickly. It was so nice to be met personally to explain home instructions. We were able to do laundry and the clothes dried quickly in the patio. Supermarket and many restaurants close by and only one block to the Uffizi museum and the river.

The location couldn’t be better, and Lorenzo was amazing meeting us at the apartment and going through all the nuances of the place. He was very attentive and friendly. We walked everywhere—don’t need any Uber or taxi. Only downside of being in the center of town is there is city noise on the street into the evening. Just recommend ear plugs and eye coverts for the front room. There back rooms are vey quiet. Was well worth the location!!

Great Location
The location of this property is perfect. Communication with owner was easy - they were very responsive to all messages. Apartment is very large with a wonderful outdoor space. There was an issue with a broken latch and they tried to charge me $100, but when I explained that the latch never worked, they reversed the charges. However, it would have been nice for them to ask me about it before charging through VRBO. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Florence
The apartment was in a perfect location for exploring Florence and the broader Tuscany region. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and included everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the host was easy and always timely. It's relevant to mention that the apartment is on a busy street with many restaurants, cafes, bars, and other amenities. This is great for convenience, but does mean that it is rather noisy deep into the night - particularly in the master bedroom which directly faces the street. Light sleepers might want to choose another bedroom. There are also many stairs to reach the apartment which can be challenging with luggage or for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs. We had a great visit to Florence and appreciated the opportunity to stay in the apartment.

Exceptional apartment in central Florence
Our family of 4 stayed for 6 nights in July. We were amazed by the space and quality of this apartment. Large bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room, kitchen and terrace. All beautifully finished and furnished. Well functioning bathrooms, air on and smart tv with Netflix etc.it was wonderful to be so central in Florence, a stone’s throw from the Uffizi, Piazza Della Signoria and Santa Croce. It made it a fantastic stay and let us feel we got to know Florence.

lovely apartment
beautiful apartment inside, very accommodating and comfortable. Roomy living/dining area. Patio is just lovely, especially on cooler nights. Only one drawback that can't be changed, one bedroom is on a very busy street, pedestrians and cars, did need ear plugs. Very nice and responsive hosts!

Fantastic Stay with Roof top Patio
On one of the great streets to watch people line up for sandwiches, where everything is so close this truly is a wonderful Stay. The apartment is so large our family of 4 adults and baby had lots of room. Kitchen is so well stocked and our plus was the wonderful weather which made one of the best parts of this apartment well used. “The roof patio”. Wish we had stayed longer but we will be back. Remember there is no lift/elevator but the 81 steps did not hold us back. Wonderful Holiday. Wonderful Food. Wonderful people.

We are happy you loved the place and the city, anyway we need to make a clarification about the steps of the stairs in the biulding; those are 53 steps from grounf zero to the second floor, not 81. The stairs are quite hard but it is an historical building and once stairs were like that :-)) This we hope could be an useful information for future guest anyway. Fantastic very large loft close to everything
We were greeted by Elisa (and her daughter) when we arrived. They gave us a quick tour of the loft and were at our disposal if we needed. The loft is VERY large with separated bedrooms which was perfect for our two couples. Have been to Florence many times and this was the best VRBO we have stayed in. There is a very large patio with electric shades that we lived in outside. I will say you need to be mobile as it is up a few flights of stairs. Will be back.

Amazing Apartment in the Heart of Florence
I stayed here for a month and this apartment is simply amazing! Located right in the heart of the city, it’s easy to walk everywhere, or to simply sit on the rooftop terrace and enjoy a glass of wine. The host was so kind and made everything so easy in terms of booking and communication and made sure everything was ok during my stay. The apartment had a washing machine and a fully stocked kitchen so you can cook. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone going to Florence. Would be great for groups too with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. I will definitely return!

We rented this apartment for 2 months and we loved every minute of our stay. It was very comfortable and very spacious. We felt like it was our home away from home ! Loved the big patio. Our family of five stayed at the La Terrazza apartment in Florence for two nights. All of my communications leading up to our trip were answered in a timely manner. This was our first stop of our ten day trip in Italy. We were very pleased on the apartment location, layout, and very clean. Elisa met us upon our arrival and was very helpful. They had a welcome basket with a bottle of wine and snacks! I I would highly recommend this property for your stay in Florence!

Beautiful apartment steps from the Duomo
We spent four nights in this well-decorated, well located and well equiped apartment near the Uffizi and and Duomo. The apartment also had a lovely terrace which we would have made more use of but for the extreme heat. Highly recommended. Lorenzo, our host, met us and was very helpful.
