My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Lakeside B&B. The property is in a great location, well maintained, and clean. The owner, Stacy, was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and served with a view of the lake. One of our best experiences at a B&B.

I really enjoyed my stay. A clean, cozy room, delicious breakfasts, good lake views, and nice dinner options nearby. The proprietors were so nice! I think I came a week or two too early (I was hoping to see fall colors) but the countryside was beautiful.

Wonderful stay
Wonderful experience! Neatly decorated room with comfortable bed and extremely quiet! Service was outstanding from check in to check out. Delicious homecooked breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day! Lovely setting on a small lake with the opportunity to use a kayak if you wanted.

This was our first experience staying in a B&B and we are completely sold. From the moment we arrived, Stacy was so gracious, kind and friendly. Not only did we have an extremely comfortable stay and exceptional breakfasts, we got the bonus of kayaking the lake in the morning, which is just steps away from the house. Thank you Stacy and Bill for making this a wonderful weekend for us. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast! We stayed in a very cozy room with a fireplace and view of the lake! Breakfast was amazing and Bill and Stacy were so fun to chat with. We cannot wait to come back!

Rooms vary in decor and each seemed to have it's own flavor. Each had some unique item(s) to view and much thought has been given to the selection of interest for guests. Long porch overlooks a beautiful lake and is quiet and peaceful How nice to arrive (after a long drive) to a complimentary glass of wine and a comfortable chair overlooking this lake. Staff is outstanding. Hostess checked on us via text to see why we were late to arrive, and if we were OK or needed any help with directions, etc. We were greeted by first names upon arrival and thereafter. Breakfast was wonderful. This is not your typical "Express" breakfast....this is full blown, beautifully set, home made breakfast including fruit, hot homemade entree, and pastries. Plus we received a snack for our next drive...and there were snacks in the common den and other places to take advantage of anytime. You are truly welcome at the Lakeside Bed & Breakfast. This host couple couldn't try any harder to make this special. Yes, the property needs a bit of maintenance on the outside, but that doesn't take away from this being a beautiful respite. We were tired...we started the next day refreshed! Thank you for all you did for us. We wish we could have stayed for your "Murder Mystery Night". Doesn't that sound like fun?

With a five star rating this B&B deserves a six!
Absolutely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at in all of our travels over the past 41 years. The wonderful hospitality, comfort, view, cleanliness of the room and property make this a top tier bed & breakfast and an excellent value for the money.

This place was a great find. The rooms and other amenities are fantastic. The hosts make you feel like you are family staying over in their home. Wait until you see breakfast--Wow! We loved it and will return.

What a great experience. Stacy & Bill could not have been more accommodating. A perfect setting for a weekend get away or a week's vacation. The facility was extremely clean. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The views of the lake are great, with a fantastic wrap around porch that is great for morning coffee or an evening night cap. The breakfasts were home cooked and fantastic. Even the town is cute and quiet.

One of the best small-size boutique bed and breakfast I've ever stayed at. Picturesque house with direct access to a lake in a small quiet town. Room was beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. Communal space was well designed. Breakfast was delicious. Most importantly, service was very friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommended if you're in the northern Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula area.

Stunning Lake View and Friendly Host
This is the best hotel we have stayed during this trip! The host is very nice and friendly! We arrived at midnight and she still waited and came down to chat with us. The lake view from the front porch is stunning and I would definitely come back with more friends!

Nice place to stay, good value, great view - comfy
This was a nice place to stay. The "Commitment" room was clean and well decorated with a fireplace flip switch. The owner was not there at our arrival, but directions to the room were left, so it was OK. Good breakfast/great dining and porch view. There was a balcony privacy screen and we didn't notice any road noise. The property is changing owners in Jan 2021. There are lots of nearby waterfalls to visit, and a couple nearby good food choices, Dina Mia, and the adjacent Tavern.

Owners were very welcoming. Place is well kept overall. Rooms were clean and cozy. I wasn't a fan of the bed, though. Way too hard! Pillows were also very low quality and flat. However, the property really won me over. They have a beautiful lakefront place with boats and kayaks for guest use. Loved relaxing by the lake! Breakfast was yummy and well served. Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

Lovely stay with the Doll's owners
We stayed only a night at Doll's passing through upper wisconsin and met the new owners (former owner retiring), who are very friendly and charming. Our stay was exceptionally comfortable, and we enjoyed meeting with the other guests. We highly recommend Doll's for those staying in or near Florence.

A very lovely place and beautiful rooms directly at the lakeshore. Dan is a wonderful host. Don‘t miss his eggs Benedict for breakfast. I really loved my stay there.
