Loved the room. Convenient location for walking around Florence. Check in was easy. We did not see staff after check in but knew thetmy were available if needed.

Comfortable guest room. Located 5 minutes from Termini station and the metro. Flat and walkable for older folks.Many restaurants and good shopping nearby. The hosts are the best. Helping you to feel comfortable, and giving suggestions. Italy and its people are wonderful friendly and welcoming to a non Italian. Great vacation here.

I liked this place it was clean with all the necessary amenities. I personally didn’t like the vibe and it was not the picture that was described it was very renaissance Catholic Church vibes it even smelt like a church, the room was mustard yellow with creepy art, the bed was very thin, you could feel the springs but our overall experience was great. It was good for an overnight stay and the price you can’t beat. Loved the blackout wooden doors that helped us sleep in and they were also very nice about us checking out an hour late and holding our luggage. Like I said I can’t complain about our stay just the decor and wall color/style wasn’t my favorite but the stay for the price was amazing.

Rude and late, but still a nice apartment
The apartment was nice but the service was pretty poor. We arrived at 3.30pm, the room was supposed to be ready at 3pm but it wasn’t actually ready until 4pm. The person on reception called Alex did not manage the situation well, he was kind of rude about it when he should have been a little apologetic. We had travelled to Florence by train from lake Garda with 2 young children, we changed train 3 times, we were hot, we had carried our bags from the station, we just wanted to get into our room. They forgot to put towels in, the door was tricky to open, the power kept cutting out so we were advised to turn off our AC if we wanted to use the kettle etc. I get it, it’s an old building, if it hadn’t been for the initial check in it may have been charming instead of annoying. The apartment was clean, it was in a good location, had great facilities and good sized rooms.

My only objection was that we were in the room directly across from the office and in the evening a couple of men in the office were having a very loud conversation (not an argument) for quite a while. It sounded like they were in our room! All they needed to do was use their "inside voices". Once the office closed at 7PM, no problems. Mark

Wow. What an amazing property. My wife and I stayed here with our two daughters (10 and 12), with my mum and her husband staying in an adjoining apartment (a separate apartment, but with a shared front door so that we felt like we were staying together as one big family!). Both apartments were astonishingly spacious, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated - the high painted ceilings were a highlight. The location was perfect for our needs: halfway between the Locauto car hire place and the main train station, and still easily walkable to the centre of Florence. The hosts were super-friendly. We recommend the nearby restaurant La Grotta Di Leo.

The place is not a hotel, it’s more like a vacation property rental. The rooms in the images were probably taken like 10 years ago, because the rooms look run down, or at least the one we had. The place is the bottom two floors of a building and it was hard to find. Once we got there, it took like 20mins Rea to get in because they didn’t answer the messages I had sent them. The building is also across the street from a charity home building, so expect people to be smoking outside at all times and stare at you as you walk down the street. Definitely affected my experience in Florence. The staff was also not super helpful and had the “it is what it is” attitude.

Dear Karla, we are sorry to read your bad review. The rooms were completely renovated in 2017, there is parquet on the floors, marble bathrooms and frescoed ceilings. It is true, we are not a hotel, and we have never said we are, we are an extra-hotel structure that manages rooms and apartments, but I think you should have read it before booking. I would like to know what you indicate as dilapidated and see at this price what you can find in the very high season in the historic center of Florence.If the problem was the people at the charity facility in front of us, looking at you (I don't think they bothered you as there has never been any complaints in over 10 years), we are very sorry, but we cannot turn away others structures without there being a real reason.Best Regards

awesome hotel
amazing hotel. suitable for tourist. 5mins walk from firenze smn station and within 10mins walk to tourist spots. very friendly hosts. spacious room. had a comfortable stay, picture as it is. no breakfast but has a basket full of snacks. will definitely stay again

I liked the room, the kitchenette, the bathroom, but I discovered that one of the tables next to the bed had someone's toe nail clipping, it was a little repulsive.

Our stay was very pleasant to the Novella House!! Family friendly. A lovely apartment ,with all the conforms , clean ,spacious 5 minutes walk to the central streets of Florence. Very friendly and helpful staff .Alex and Alessia!

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at Novella House! The location was amazing with a short six minute walk from the train station, plenty of restaurants nearby, and spots such as the duomo and Ponte Vecchio within a short walking distance. The interior decor was gorgeous and the room was very spacious! Would recommend to friends!

The location is good, 5 min walk from the Florence train station. Staff is friendly. The amenities is sufficient in the room with cookware and utensils. One minor thing about our apartment is that the room layout is quite weird, with one locked door leading nowhere, making one worrying about what's behind the door all the time. Overall, the stay was good.

Camera bella vicina a tutti i luoghi d'interesse
Camera bellissima con salottino e tutto il necessario per una mini colazione. Vicinissimo ai luoghi d'interesse della città. Circondata da trattorie e localini tipici. L'unica nota negativa non siamo riusciti a fare la doccia al mattino perchè l'acqua era gelida.
