'A brand new IHG hotel here in Labuan Bajo. I've never stayed at any hotel in the IHG group where the service has been this good. The standard of service here by all members of staff from all departments has been only 5 stars. I'm embarrassed to single out any staff member'

'We loved our stay at Meruorah. This is by far the best option if you want to stay near the harbour. Very convenient before or after your boattrip to Komodo etc. You could even start your trip next to the hotel! As easy as that! 'The room, staff and food was lovely. But, the Safety, risk and emergency procedures make this a dangerous place to stay. I fell off the jetty due to poor lighting, breaking a number of bones. My husband jumped in and saved me, other guests helped us, while staff were lovely they had no idea, could not swim and no first aid box or stretcher/board.
