'This cabin has gorgeous views and is well stocked (games, books, cards, pool table, hot tub, fire pit, plenty of kitchen supplies). Deer come right up to the deck each morning and night. I am not sure why others have made comments in their review about the cabin needing improvements. I disagree. It’s a cabin in the mountains. You should not expect this to be the equivalent of a penthouse suite in a downtown hotel. It’s an amazing mountain cabin. Any questions we had, Conrad was quick to answer....

'Property is a bit dated but the views are worth it! It's clean, has fast WiFi, and comfortable bedding. All the kitchen essentials you need and a great location. We had an issue getting into the property but Elizabeth was quick to get it resolved and had excellent communication. Would stay again!'

'We had an excellent family weekend at this location. The proximity to fossil beds, cripple creek & eleven mile canyon was great. We spent the days exploring the area and the evenings enjoying the extremely well equipped cabin. '

'We had the very cute cabin 4. Perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the Comfy bed. The cabin was minimal but everything you need. The property is beautiful and has lovely seating areas to relax. It’s 5 minutes from Garden of the Gods and there’s plenty of places to eat and shop near by. Highly recommend this quaint place for an economic place to stay. '

'Great price and location! The property is almost next door to garden of the gods and has a river running directly behind the cabins. Very cozy and cute updated cabin with a fully stocked kitchen for making your own meals. Pet friendly with plenty of space for potty walks, also, the very reasonable one time $30 pet fee covers all animals for the whole length of your stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We just had one minor communication error because of a late email and ended up having...

'Wonderful stay with beautiful views. The sound of the creek was instantly relaxing. Great location near plenty of restaurants, hikes & attractions. Excellent water pressure and the AC worked like a charm. The host and groundskeeper were very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Overall a wonderful experience!'

"It’s a beautiful location with one of a kind views. Large and nicely appointed rooms. A/C/heater, fridge and several power outlets did not work. Even after informing the front-desk, these issues were not taken care of. Staff and front-desk manager seem not to care. Because of the great location we nevertheless extended our stay by one night and were told to come back later in the afternoon as we would move to the room above. We were totally fine with this. Upon checking in in the afternoon, front-desk informed us that nok room was available, except for a suite that would be way more expensive. When being overbooked, you expect a hotel to offer the suite at the same rate as the originally booked room. This did not happen, even not after talking to the front-office manager. It’s such a shame for such a beautiful property. If you charge the rates of a 5 star, 5 diamond hotel, then you should also deliver this service standard. With more care, better trained and professional employees and by going above and beyond this can be a great place, but based on our experience we will never come back. "

"The hotel was very well located. You could walk to the departure station of the free shuttle to the Manitou Incline and the Pikes Peak terminal. It was also very quiet so I slept very well. The room had everything you needed. The continental breakfast was pretty ok, with boiled eggs and a waffle maker."
