The property was very unique and fun…..it really was homey and comfortable….much more than a regular hotel/motel situation♥️ We loved staying at the Beaxhaide Boutique and plan on coming back!!

The room and house were fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit of a challenge, Beachside utilizes a parking lot across the street which also fills up. Beachside was close to Folly Beach and downtown which was very nice. The walkway to get into Beachside was difficult, steps were uneven and railing was low and unstable.

Thank you for the feedback Barbara. Parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge but the joy is that you can park it and not need it for the rest of your stay. We are so glad you enjoyed the stay and that the room and staff were fantastic. We love what we do here :)

For me, the stepping stones and then another set of steps to the main floor were horrendous. An accident ready to happen.There was no one to help me with my luggage. Had to park across the street which added to the time and stress on my poor legs. For this reason, I will have to think twice booking a stay there again. Most of the stay was ok. Quaint room with antique furnishings. Shower was the best.Great location. Can walk anywhere and leave the car at the$10.00 parking lot.

This property is charming and is one of the few places that still reflects the "Folly vibe" that made Folly Beach a unique destination.

Amazing Abode
We arrived late at 8PM the day of our stay. Laura texted check in details the day of and stayed in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze with her instructions and parking on the street was very simple. Along our walk to the room, we admired the cute kitchen filled with snacks for the guests to peruse. I enjoyed an apple and a nutragrain bar! The Queen Anne Suite was just lovely. Even in the dead of winter, the room made entirely of windows was quite warm. Laura even left a heater in the room, just in case. The walls between rooms are thick and seem to provide quality privacy. The rainfall shower has good water pressure, although the water temperature itself was a bit sporadic (vacillating from very hot to very cold the whole shower). My only true complaint would be that the bathroom doesn’t have a door (which is really something I should have paid closer attention to when booking). We only stayed one night though so it wasn’t that big of a deal. If it hadn’t been 18 degrees at the time of our stay, we definitely would have ambled along the 5-min. walk it takes to get to the beach—and the Folly Beach Pier! We ended up eating at Pier 101 and noticed just how close it actually was to our accommodations. I’d recommend just staying parked on Laura’s street and walking over to save money on parking! Overall, we had an amazing time. We got to meet Laura (and Wrigley!🐶) before we left in the morning. Will definitely be booking again next time!

We were looking for a last minute getaway between holidays and this was a great choice. Everything in town was walking distance from the house so it was nice not having to drive or move the car once parked. Laura (and Wrigley) was an incredible host along with all the other friendly faces we met while there.

Cute, cozy and fun!!
We enjoyed our stay in the Cost Rican bungalow. So cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Grounds are super fun and quirky!! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Folly!

What a fantastic experience! We loved the property that's beautiful and charming with all modern amenities. The common kitchen is very convenient and the breakfast is great. There are several common spaces to relax and bicycles & beach chairs available. Laura is extremely caring and attentive and we loved her dog :-) We will definitely be back and strongly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to enjoy the true spirit of Folly Beach!

This was our first stay and we were pleased with the room, service and proximity to the restaurants and beach. Everything is within walking distance. Only drawback is the pillows weren't comfortable. We will be back!

Cute spot! We loved staying here for many reasons. The location is great, the King room was beautiful and the hosts kindly left out breakfast and snacks. The only inconvenience was not great wifi availability and there is no easy parking that’s free unless you move your car at 6am.

Our second stay here. We love it. Great location. Super friendly and relaxing. Has beach towels. Bikes. Chairs and things for guest to use. Golf cart rentals across the street. King suite bathroom was epic

Fabulous funky Folly!
Check in was so friendly! Laura greeted me and I felt genuinely welcomed! The room I stayed in is adorable! The property is close to the beach, pier, restaurants and bars. Music is played around town often, at various venues. All of this was walking distance!! The place is funky fun!! Great common areas to gather and meet other travelers! The breakfast was lovely and most appreciated! Thank you!!

I loved the different “public shared” areas the property offered. I was traveling alone - but would totally have loved sharing those spaces with other travelers and meeting new people. It was so convenient to walking everywhere I needed to go - the beach, the grocery store, the restaurants and shopping!! Each room also had a private outside area to enjoy - I was able to do Yoga in the morning and enjoy a Wisconsin Happy Hour and read a book in the evening after a day at the Beach - then head to a bar for dinner and live Music😊Access to the full kitchen was perfect and the Wisconsin gal running the place made me feel right at home!
