Just a block from the beach, this charmingly updated home offers not only an ideal location near the Folly Beach Pier, but also character to spare. Outdoor highlights include a private back yard with a shady patio, perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Inside, you’ll find lots of color, unique artwork - check out the skateboards - and plenty of space to gather in the open, light-filled space. Whip up a meal or snack in the full kitchen, then take your pick of several bar-style seating areas or sit down for a more formal meal at the window-front table. When it’s time to venture out, you’re around a half-mile from all the shops, restaurants, and bars of Center Street.

When you return, spend the evening relaxing in the central AC. Entertainment options include free WiFi and four streaming-capable TVs, so everyone will find something to watch. End the night in one of the well-appointed bedrooms - another perfect Folly Beach day awaits tomorrow.

Do NOT rent from any Vacasa properties. There was a cockroach infestation at the property. The kitchen cabinets had months of roach droppings and sheddings in them. The showers did not drain and were moldy/scummy. We had to reach out to the company multiple times over and over again to get assistance and it was 50/50 if someone would be horribly rude or polite and helpful. It took 5 full days and many follow up messages to get someone to come and fix the slow drains. The roach infestation was terrible to deal with. While the location is ideal, the property is clearly run down and old. Might be time to retire this location as a rental.

Summer Vacation

The house inside was as pictured. There was quite a bit of cobwebs on the dining room light which is right above the table and also other areas in the living area. Outside needs a little work particularly around the shower area. There is no where to actually stand without getting sand all over you. I would stay here again though. Easy walk to beach.

Property location was great. Management company was terrible…. WiFi didn’t work, tried to get it fixed and the property manager never showed up to fix it. Had to keep AC on or power went out in half the house. Took over 13 hours to get it fixed. They plugged in refrigerator to an extension cord to try and “save our groceries “. On check out was woken up by the power company taking the meter out so they could fix the issues. We didn’t have power the morning of check out…. I won’t go on any more

This house was immaculate and the proximity to the beach was great. The inside is not as modernized as the pictures make it look and the outside wasn’t prepared for guests … maybe because it was early in the season. We needed blankets and the property manager got them for us right away, even though it was a Sunday.

Perfect Location for Beach Lovers

This house has been renovated and decorated beautifully!! It is wonderfully spacious for family gatherings. The 2nd floor bedroom/living room/bathroom area are such a nice bonus. The walk to the beach is just a minute or two and the walk to the restaurants and grocery is so convenient. My only suggestion for improvement is a few more kitchen items; spatula, more silverware and a glass baking dish or casserole dish. We would definitely stay here again on our next Folly Beach visit.

Great location!!

This was the perfect location for our family trip. We loved the short walk to the beach and the walk to restaurants was not bad either. The house was very clean too. The property management would not let us check in early which was a bummer. There is also no grill which was also a disappointment since we brought stuff to grill for dinner. The batteries in remotes/trash can also didnt work but luckily we brought extra batteries to get the tv controlers to work. Overall, we really liked this house and would highly recommend it!

Just Perfect

We were down in SC to move my daughter out of her dorm and love Folly so decided to stay a few extra days. The location is fantastic. The beach and town are very walkable. The house was perfect for us. Having my own a separate space ( second floor bedroom/bathroom)was an added bonus I hadn't realized. The pink kitchen has everything we needed and we loved the color scheme. We will definitely try to book again.
