Zie de ochtendzon opkomen boven de Atlantische Oceaan vanuit dit prachtige huis aan de oceaan aan de oevers van Folly Beach! Breng uw dagen door met zwemmen en zonnebaden, en kom thuis om af te spoelen onder de buitendouche, achterover te leunen in de eilandbries op de twee overdekte portieken en het lager gelegen terras met uitzicht op het water, en ontspan met uw geliefden in een paar mooie woonkamers / eetgedeelte.

Het oceaanstrand ligt net buiten uw achterdeur en de beroemde Folly Beach Pier ligt op minder dan 1,5 km ten oosten. Als u niet aan het vissen, surfen, kajakken, varen of deelnemen aan een aantal andere leuke eilandactiviteiten, vindt u een overvloed aan winkels en restaurants langs Center Street (een mijl ten oosten) in het hart van de stad. Het centrum van Charleston, met zijn eeuwenlange geschiedenis en ongelooflijke restaurants, ligt ook slechts 12 mijl ten noorden.

Many problems with this house

The layout of the house is not suited for groups. The “living room” and dining area that can actually accommodate the number of people in this house is upstairs and it’s extraordinarily hot up there. Rooms are tiny - in the master, my husband and I couldn’t even walk around the bed at the same time. The bathroom is so small in the master as well. we had ants in an upstairs bedroom. Many of the sliding doors don’t work and the ones that do work, the locks don’t work so you have to use a piece of wood to “lock” them. Several lights didn’t work in the kitchen. The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work and the fridge wasn’t very cold. The outdoor shower in the walk way sprayed all over the place. The handle for the hose is all broken and has sharp, pointy edges. The furniture downstairs takes up too much space and everything feels super cramped. I would not recommend this house for any large family gathering or really at all given the maintenance on the house itself clearly hasn’t been kept up. They just assume no one will care because you’re on the beach.

Fantastic Folly!

What a fantastic week we had at this beach house. We loved the location- right on the gorgeous beach. It was perfect weather all week too. We also liked that we could visit Charleston so easily. The home had a well stocked kitchen for family dinners. The home is spacious for a large gathering. We had one minor repair which was fixed immediately. Thanks for helping to create a week full of lovely memories!

Beachy beach house

Just what I love in a house on the beach! Kind of quirky Island decor and not too fancy. Great for kids. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of stairs a bit hard on the older folks. Iconic beach experience for all!

The house overall is a great place to stay. I don't know if the owners are aware of some things that need to be addressed. The four chairs on the upper floor are all in need of having the cushions replaced. They are all torn and in bad shape. Two of the lights under the cabinets in the upper kitchen do not work - very dark in there. The hair dryer does not work. The floor in the bathroom on the first floor is soft like there is a leak that needs to checked. Some of the sockets on the first level are hanging out and need to be secured. This is a great house, but the owners need to do some updating and repairs!

Great place for a large family group

We had 5 different families together. This place worked great as it gave us plenty of spaces for everyone to spread out or come together. Pictures need updated- the upstairs has a nice sectional couch, not rhe blue one. There are also 2 bunks in a closet not listed in the beds. There are the normal, over rented without maintainemce issues- the upstiars sink sprayer was broken, the remotes had all been moved around so we had to play remote monoploy to get the tvs all set up (and inly vasic channels but come on, we were at the beach!), but overall it was a great week. The water is hot, even with all those showers. Plenty of clean towels, beds were newer memory foam mattresses and comfy, lots of parking and sand toys galore that previous renters left behind. Two kitchens made it nice with all the families, as did the 2 balconies and a deck. Being a Vacasa house had ne worried bc of othwrs opinions, but they replied to any text within minutes and there is a staffed office within 3 miles.

The upstairs of this property had big rooms & a wonderful view of the ocean. The downstairs had the same great views & a big kitchen. The bedrooms downstairs were small, not enough room to move around. The bathrooms were small & the toilets werent bolted to the floor. the living room downstairs was also small so we used the upstairs as our family sitting area. .There was a lot of dog hair on the furtniture left over from previous guests & a lot of sand on the floors.

Great location, fantastic views!

This home worked well for our 6 adults, 3 children under 3 and 2 dogs. Having 2 well stocked kitchens was awesome - we cooked every night. Loved the table for 10 upstairs and a smaller gathering area downstairs. Heads up: the bedrooms are tight with limited storage space. Good hanging but not enough drawer space. Bathrooms are also tight, no place to put anything off the small counters. There's a nice washer/dryer so pack less and enjoy the beach!

Half Marathon Weekend!

Great home for multiple families. Two levels, each with 3 bedrooms and full kitchen. Beautiful views, new decking and very clean! Hope to return next year for the race to save Folly’s Lighthouse!!

Absolutely Love!

We had a group of 8 family members stay at the house. So much space in there! The balconies on the back the house were the highlight of the trip. Absolute perfect view of the sunrise, and very comfortable rocking chairs! Kitchens were fully stocked of supplies, and I mean FULLY stocked! There was even a garlic press in one of the drawers! The house could use a few minor updates, but once you see the view off the back decks, those updates don't really matter much. This was one of the best rental houses we've ever stayed in, and we really look forward to renting this property again! Everything about it was exactly what we were looking for.

Great view of the Ocean but the property is trach

Dirty, not cleaned well, wood table in back comes apart when you pick it up with exposed nails. Peeling paint and wall paper, rust in the inside and outside, lose walk way, bugs. The view is amazing. The owners obviously are not concerned. I loved Folly Beach, the Management Company was great. I would never rent this property again.

Great pet friendly house with lots of room

This is a nice house for a large group. Plenty of beds, mattresses were not all that great but that seems to be typical of rentals. The two kitchens were nice for all the "cooks in the kitchen". The dishwashers were a little tricky to get loaded and running. The house is close enough to town that you could walk and not have to fight the traffic and parking. Over all, we had a great stay with beautiful weather. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. If you walk (or drive) down to the Folly Beach County Park, you have a great view of the sunset.

The tables were so sticky from previous guest that playing poker was extremely difficult. We had to put a bed sheet down on the table in order to get the cards and chips not to stick. Other than that the house is exactly as expected.

We visited for a weekend wedding on the beach. Location of property was fantastic. Loved the beach access. House had ample room for our party of twelve. Had a couple issues we addressed with rental agency and appreciated the quick response. Overall would stay at this location again.

I wish I could write a better review

We stay at a lot of vacation rentals. My kids and I love to travel and visit new places. There was good and not so good here. The area was very nice, the view was amazing, the second floor was awesome for the teens and they felt like they had their own apartment up there. Unfortunately the internet did not work the whole time, one of the rooms had a terrible odor like a dead animal so we could not use that room which my daughter really wanted (this was her birthday trip) the cable was not connected, the bathrooms were pretty run down, the kitchen sink water barely came out, the back sliding door of the bedroom did not have a lock, only a stick to keep it shut which was a bit stressful as I was alone with my kids and the back door on the porch was completely broken with a baby gate up that was hard to use and rusty. Updates to this place would make the stay a lot more satisfying but I would expect much more at this price. I did text the office and also left a message with no response. Overall I had to give a 2 star rating but these things are all fixable so hoping it will help the owners out. I do not like complaining but I do feel in this instance if I was the owner, I would like to know so I could remedy the issues. Hopefully this helps!
