Grotendeels tevreden. Alleen de wc-bril was kapot. Lift werkte goed maar zag er gedateerd uit en niet op hetzelfde niveau als de rest.

Op tien minuten wandelen van het kasteel, recht in het centrum, naaste een zeer lekkere Italiaan. Luxueuze kamer met alle comfort. Het voelde keizerlijk aan (disclaimer: we kregen van twee kamers voor ons en onze kinderen de upgrade naar de suite).

Wat ik wel heel jammer vind is dat voor deze kwaliteit en prijsklasse de stokbroden en croissantjes niet bij de échte Franse bakker vandaan komen maar heláás afbak kwaliteit is. Ontbijt is sowieso aan de dure kant. Het hotel is vooral super gelegen en het personeel zeer vriendelijk.

Great classic hotel downtown with a few quirks
The hotel is right downtown on the edge of the pedestrian zone and close to the castle. This also means you have to park in the street or in the public underground garage across the street and you hit quite some traffic going out early. The room was generous and clean, the bed was comfortable. The window did not isolate well, and the room was uncomfortably cold on arrival and turning the heat up to 21° meant a noisy fan blowing. The bathroom had only a narrow towel rack and a single large knob near the shower that was too large to thread through the loop in the towel. So for all that reuse your towels, two towels simply glid to the floor from that large, slippery know. There was also not a single electrical outlet, and very few in the room which were all in use and near the floor. Combine that with the short and stiff cable of the hair dryer, and I ended up blow drying in a dark corner with no mirror and nearly kneeling. Breakfast was nice if a little pricey. Breakfast staff were very friendly. I would have wished for a little variety, the selection was exactly the same all three mornings, with the same undercooked scrambled eggs, disappointingly standard bland cheese and lack of black tea other than Darjeeling. The biggest caveat for a hotel that caters to business travel though was the cancellation deadline of 5 days prior to arrival. A shorter deadline wasn't available even at a higher rate, and several of our party got caught by that. I would not use it again.

Séjour en couple
Très bon hôtel, chambre "classique" spacieuse et confortable. Grande salle de bain. Le personnel est très accueillant, les chambres sont propres, et le buffet du petit déjeuner est très bien fournit (le personnel du petit déjeuner est au top!!) Le seul bémol que nous avons eu est la climatisation qui faisait beaucoup de bruit.. une fois coupée, et après plusieurs cycles du compresseur le calme est revenu. Nous avons passé un bon séjour, l'hôtel est en face du château de Fontainebleau, en plein centre ville, tout est accessible à pieds.

Un aigle noir qui pourrait devenir un phénix !
très propre, lit très confortable mais les meubles en bois un peu usés mériteraient d'être changés ou rénovés, quand aux porte sdb et vestibule un peu d'huile sur les charnières éviteraient qu'elles couinent. Excellent petit déjeuner avec une équipe de professionnels très à l'écoute et disponible.

Parfait, tout simplement parfait
Réserver dans un hôtel MGallery constitue généralement une promesse de confort, de calme, d'élégance et de raffinement sans se ruiner. C'est le cas à l'Aigle Noir, situé juste en face du château de Fontainebleau, et donc parfait pour y passer un week-end de visites historiques. La chambre classique est vaste, bien équipée, avec un grand lit très confortable, Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner buffet est excellent (notamment les œufs brouillés), mais pas donné (25 €). Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester le bar, dommage.

Pour une chambre « deluxe » à 435 € (hors petit déjeuner et parking, en supplément), vous avez droit à une chambre de taille raisonnable (mais pas folle non plus), dont la climatisation est digne d’un motel bas de gamme (très bruyante et parfaitement inefficace) qui vous obligera probablement à ouvrir les fenêtres et, là, à 3 h du matin, vous vous demanderez peut-être si le fait d’être au cœur de ville était finalement une bonne idée. Quand vos voisins rentreront avec leurs enfants qui courent dans la chambre du dessus ou vos voisins de chambre feront une partie de jambes en l’air, vous comprendrez que « chambres insonorisées » ne concerne que le bruit extérieur, tout ce qui se passe dans les chambres contiguës à la vôtre s’y entend comme si vous y étiez. Outre le pommeau de douche et les crochets de fixation branlants, vous apprécierez peut-être de prendre votre petit déjeuner en compagnie de chiens accompagnant leurs maîtres, mais ce n’était pas notre cas. Enfin, aucune compassion à l’accueil par la réceptionniste au check- out, il faut juste « écrire un mail pour se plaindre à la direction », il n’y aura donc pas de réparation, pas de changement pour le prochain client - pardon pigeon - qui prendra la chambre 118 (je ne pense pas qu’elle soit fondamentalement différente des autres chambres de l’établissement). Bref, à quoi bon une belle déco (a rafraîchir) et un bon emplacement si vous ne pouvez profiter du service premier offert par un hôtel : bien y dormir. A fuir.

Outre son indéniable confort, l'hôtel occupe vraiment un emplacement idéal pour accéder au château et à son parc. Malgré l'importance de la circulation, le calme qui règne à l'intérieur est remarquable.Excellent petit déjeuner.

Excellent hôtel **** sur Fontainebleau
Un des plus beaux hôtels de Fontainebleau. La chambre était impeccable et la literie de très bonne qualité. A 2 pas du château et du parc. Toutes commodités et magasins à proximité. Parfait.
