'Prachtig groot appartement met veranda en schitterend uitzicht. Helaas wel erg koud. Er is vloerverwarming maar alleen in de slaapkamers. De vloerverwarming kwam heel langzaam om gang en het lukte niet om het huisje goed te verwarmen. De boiler lekte, de keukenvloer stond onder water. Duurde erg lang voordat dat verholpen werd. Niet erg vriendelijke service.
Wel heerlijke bedden en prachtige badkamers, en een open haard met een mand met hout die we natuurlijk helemaal hebben opgestookt...'

'Stunningly beautiful grounds with private lake. Very accommodating and friendly hosts (Alex and staff). We were also served a delicious breakfast. Location ideal for Michaelhouse school and the Midlands Meander route. Highly recommended for a peaceful and refreshing getaway.'

'The accommodation was perfect for us as we where in the area for a cycle race. The place was very accommodating by having a very early breakfast and supplied a place we could park our bikes indoors (there where other cyclists also staying there as well). Staff are friendly and everything went to plan.'

'A terrific property set in a quiet location close to Nottingham Road amenities. A perfect place to base to explore the Midlands. Staff were excellent - we were the only two guests staying at the time and were extremely well looked after.'

'I really enjoy the Lodge. Perfect for Self catering and they really pay attention to the little details. Home made delicious biscuits every night, setting up the fire and making sure the chalet is warm for your return. They also supply you with firewood and we were gifted an amazing bottle of wine when we left. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return'

'The rooms themselves were great and the breakfast was delicious. However, there is a shared kitchen which is available to prepare any other meals…it is not in good condition at all and needs some serious TLC if the space is to be offered for guest use. For example the oven is FILTHY, the sink is perpetually full of used, dirty dishes and cutlery/crockery/glasses/cookware all need to be upgraded/replaced. I think the shared space is a great idea, but it has to be drastically improved to reflect...

'It was a very beautiful setting. The room was very small and the pictures on the booking were a little different. Gettijg into the estate was a bit of a mission. I was suppose to recieve a code prior to atrivijg which was never sent. Once i had my cide, it still did not work. This meant i had to use another gate at the back of the estate which was highly inconvenient '
