'It was a great stay in a perfect cottage in a quiet part of Bream. Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials and more. No dishwasher, but that was quite okay. Great beds. The free roaming sheep and the chicken were a nice extra. Jane, the host is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and the best places to go to. It is tucked away in a corner of Gloucestershire, but has some great walks in the beautiful Forest of Dean. '

'The apartment we stayed in was perfect for our stay as a basis to explore Gloucester and the northern Cotswolds. The docks with a choice of restaurants is in walking distance, parking for the car at the back with easy access. Beds were super comfy. Everything was clean. Perfect. We will be back! '

'We stayed in Apt 1 on ground floor which was great. Very roomy & had everything we needed. It was handy being able to prepare breakfast & dinner if needed. Washing machine was a bonus & came in handy after travelling for a bit so was able to wash our clothes. Lidl supermarket less than 10 min easy walk. Would highly recommend. '

'A couple of nights away with the girls. The apartment was overall good. I should have checked when booking but there is no parking. The area Redlands is nice. The outside of the apartment needs tidying up. The beds and bedding were comfortable but when we went to make one of the beds into double (was a zip lock) the sheeting was filthy with bloody stains. The cleaner did come the next day to change the bedding but was a bit grim. The shower facilities weren’t great as the flow was very weak....

'Two single beds a bit creaky, not enough toilet roll 1for four nights. Parking spot very tight and not marked very clearly (someone took our parking spot when we returned late one night, hard to find another spot. Overall very happy with our stay'

'It was very nice and relaxing, would definitely stay there again. The old fleece pub was exceptional would recommend going there too. '

'We have had a nice stay at the Old fleece. The apartment is just above the pub, but you won't hear any noise from it. The apartment is large and well equipped, eg dishwasher, microwave, oven, large screen with Netflix. Unfortunately it's hard to heat the room because there is just a small heating and as it's an old building cold air and noise find their way through the (window)frames. '

'We had the most delightful stay at the lovely Ewelme Manor House in Dursley. The home is full of character, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. The garden, pool and outdoor dining area are exquisite and provided the perfect backdrop for a family reunion and Celebration of Life. The location was ideal—tucked away in a peaceful village, it’s just a five minute walk to town center yet the property is surrounded in gorgeous, mature trees (several redwoods) that evoke the feeling of...

'Lovely tranquil campsite. We stayed in the 2 man pod, clean, comfortable and secluded. We had pizzas in the evening which were super delicious and so reasonably priced. Friendly staff, all round a great place to stay'

'We have had a perfect stay. Sean really offers a home away from home. The house is really nice and just minutes away from the centre of lovely Painswick. The groceries that can be used help to make you feel very welcome. Furthermore the EV charger was a big plus for us as well. Can not think of a nicer place to stay and would recommend it to anyone.'

'Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.'

'Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!'

"Vriendelijk personeel, er werd echter niet mee gelopen om de kamers te wijzen. We hadden twee kamers, duidelijk verschil. Eén kamer was een stuk groter, had een tafeltje en een stoel en een grotere wastafel. Die kamer was op de rustige kant. De andere kamer was krapper en zat aan een drukke weg. Zeer goede bedden. Wel wat gehorig, vloer kraakt ook op meerdere plekken. Meerdere verdiepingen, echter geen lift."
