Homestead on the Hoh river

Forget your worries in this spacious, serene space of 16 1/2 acres on the wild lower Hoh River, with exclusive access. Take a step back in time on a working homestead. Find a serenity known to natives for millennia. Pick wild berries in season, and enjoy apples and pears from the trees. Experience Elk, raptors, swallows, and migrating birds up close. This is your secluded escape from home; you will find a quiet place for your friends and family to enjoy.
The space
The Space: Situated roughly halfway between the Hoh National Park and Klaloch Beach, 16 acres of an ongoing homestead on the lower Hoh River. Three bedrooms, two baths, spacious and inviting homes await you. Enjoy the amenities of Homestead life without all the work!

Guest access
Guest access: Plenty of parking space and room for trailer turnaround! Take a morning stroll around the hay field, down to Nolan Creek, or into the Hoh riverbed via exclusive river access.

Other things to note
**There will be an on-site caretaker living in the lower unit, separated from the upstairs portion of the home. He will water the plants, tend the lawns, replenish the bird feeders, and maintain other outdoor areas. If you need any help during your stay, he will be a resource, although he won't disturb your visit or privacy in any way.

*Property is vulnerable to power outages due to the location and remoteness. We have backup drinkable water. Along with lanterns, we can also start a fire to heat the home if needed. :) The property runs off a well and a septic system. So please keep this in mind. If, for any reason, there is an outage, we will work to accommodate and do anything we can.

Also, work may be done in the far cow barn in preparation for the haying season.

Minutes from Ruby Beach & the Hoh Rainforest, and hiking aplenty. There is an amazing open kitchen and beautiful scenery through every window.

Guest tips: each room has an individual indecent heat/a.c. Use the controller attached to the heater in the living room. Connect to the Homestead on the Hoh network. The mini-bar and refrigerator/ pantry can be stocked per request with advance notice for additional changes.

*We have excellent phone service and reliable Starlink Internet access.

All the comforts in a quiet and serene location!
This house was so great for us! We wanted a place to stay on the west side of Olympic National Park, so we wouldn't have to spend so much of our time driving. We were so glad to find this listing! The house was comfortable, with a fabulous kitchen and living room. The bedrooms were huge, with space for us to spread out. The deck was perfect for drinks and dinner in the evening - and the dark sky made star gazing so easy! We also loved the birds (we are bird watchers) and we explored the lanes and fields a bit. Communication with the manager was fast and easy and they were responsive to our needs. We highly recommend this home!

We LOVED staying at the Homestead. Plenty of space for the family, lots of property to explore, it’s 10 mins to Ruby Beach and close to some great Olympic National Park attractions, and a whole herd of elk visited every evening! Would definitely stay again.
