'The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. 'There was an old English charm about Culloden house. Lots of things were not really new but it added to the charm. What really stood out for us was the friendlyness of the staff. We felt so welcome. We were on our honeymoon and we loved it there.'

Het is onderdeel van een groter complex, schuin ervoor ligt nog het Macdonald Morlich Hotel dat in nagenoeg alle opzichten hetzelfde is. Inchecken duurde te lang, er stond een rij voor de receptie zonder personeel. Na 5 minuten wachter dan toch... verder goed geholpen. Het is een vrij groot hotel en had moeite de weg te vinden, zoveel branddeuren, trapjes, en lange gangen. Als je 2 keer moet vragen waar...
