Negatief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Room, Staff misleading us about WiFi, Staff not cleaning room properly
From the moment we walked in the room, we could tell the stay was going to be subpar. There was a very strong smell in the room that about knocked me over, like someone had cleaned with Clorox or something like that. The lamps had rust on them. The beds were hard and squeaked. Walls had spots where there was either no paint or they had painted a slightly different cover over. There were cobwebs everywhere, in the corners and the ceilings. Knats were flying around and a small spider dropped down on my face from the ceiling. The person staying with me went to the office after the first night and told them. He asked for a broom so he could get the cobwebs. During the night I heard gunshots and also smelled marijuana. I did not walk barefoot - one time I stepped on the floor and it was extremely sticky. When I took my shower I noticed some small holes in the bathroom by the shower. No one repaired them; they stuffed each hole with toilet paper. REALLY!?! Who does that?
When I ran the water, it sounded like someone was vacuuming. We didn’t feel too safe either seeing as how the safety latch on the door was half gone. One other thing - no WiFi! We were told by the man at the lobby that the WiFi should be up by Saturday morning (we came in Friday evening). But we never had it.
Overall, this was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel.
I do not recommend.
