My biggest qualm is that I was allowed to book a room under 21 years old, but when I went to check in, I was told via a remote access kiosk-type machine that I wasn’t allowed to get the key to my room and stay because I was under 21. Nowhere on the booking details does it say that you have to be over 21–it only says 18+, which I am—and I was lucky enough that my boyfriend’s dad was there for a night too and he could register our room under his name. I ended up paying like $200 overall because I couldn’t get a refund for my room that I wasn’t allowed to check in to and I had to pay extra for a room that was bigger than I wanted anyway. The breakfast was also not so great if you’re trying to get away with not needing to buy anything—all they had was cereal, toast, and some pastries. The room itself was fine. Bed was comfy, everything looked clean, and the air conditioner worked well. I am just really disappointed with the check in and the absence of an in-person clerk to help me deal with my problems.
