Where to start…
The good, the property met our needs and was in a convenient location.
The bad, after booking they wanted to charge us $30/day to heat the pool which is not noted in the listing. Secondly, they gave us the wrong entry code so we waited over 40min in the driveway to get a response with the correct code. The split kitchen is weird and inconvenient, and the recreational amenities were in poor condition. No skimmer for the pool. Not a huge deal but everything just seems to be worn or cheap.
The “best” part was they double charged us for our stay, and after advising them of their error it took a few days to get a refund, however due to exchange rates (we’re from Canada) we were $300 short and they told us it’s not their problem. When we asked to speak with management they ghosted us! Amazing… their error, unauthorized charge to my credit card cost me $300!! Thank you Newman Hospitality, you are very unprofessional and everyone should be aware of your tactics. Good luck
