Health Hazard and Uncooperative Owner
My daughter and I had a distressing experience at Seahorse Guesthouse Pompano Beach. Within 4 hours of check-in, we began to experience health issues likely caused by mold/mildew in our room.
Our attempts to discuss this with the owner, Darren, were met with hostility. He refused to help or offer a refund and indicated that we weren't the first guests to complain.
Despite the charm of the small, locally-owned property and I hope to help a small business, our stay was marred by health concerns and Darren's dismissiveness. He was equally uncooperative with Expedia, who advised me to escalate the matter.
Please consider our experience if you're planning a stay here. Health hazards and hostile management made our experience extremely disappointing.
