Thank you for the review. First we have heard regarding the mattress and are sorry it was felt to be uncomfortable. Due to the fact that mattress types, firmness and so forth seem to be a matter of opinion, we are sorry you felt it to be uncomfortable.

The cabin was beautiful, we enjoyed it very much. Great fire pit out back. Very close to State Park. Great hiking areas nearby.

Birthday Getaway
The location was great but we couldn't find the exact cabin in the dark because there was no address marking on the road or mailbox. Very cute cottage style cabin although we couldn't get the fireplace to work. The owner sent a video for us to use to get it started by but it still wouldn't. The upstairs jetted tube wouldn't work and neither did the TV in the downstairs bedroom. Overall it was still a nice cabin.

Hi Mandie, Thank you for your review. I’d like to address your issues. 1. I’m sorry you had an issue finding the cabin. Due to property being non postal and no mail delivery, we’d hoped the reflective sign in the yard would help with location. 2. Fireplace. I’m sorry you had trouble even after trying the video. Fortunately it lit back up after we checked it. 3. Jacuzzi tub-after checking that as well-we found that the button needed to be mashed fairly hard to get it to come on. 4. TV in the bedroom does come on after we checked it-tends to be a signal issue off and on due to location. Thank you again for bringing these items to our attention.

Quite neighborhood
Cabin was as described. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was pretty well stocked with necessities. Was able to have firewood delivered. The property manager was very helpful and easy to communicate with. There is a cat that visits on a regular basis and did not want to leave. Will jump on the counters and tables. Front door lock needs to be replaced. Over all we had a good stay.

Perfect Stay!
The property is beautiful. It is secluded, but there are neighbors. No one is right on top of you though. The screened-in porch with the hot tub was magical in the evening. We left our lantern, so keep to enjoy on the back porch! The house was so clean and inviting. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, and the bedding was comfy and clean. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend with my boyfriend. Make sure to go to the lookout right below the cabin. Beautiful area to stay. Thanks for letting us!

Great cabin!
We really enjoyed our stay Deer Run Cabin! It’s a precious cabin with lots of character and very comfortable. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The cell service in this area is very little to none (which did not bother us because we wanted to unplug) but just letting others know. It was a true getaway for our group and we would definitely book again !

Peaceful but no hair dryer…
Hair dryer is STILL listed in the amenities. I found out there was none after I was already there for a couple of days… Not very many stores close by, I contacted manager, she said “sorry for the mixup” and they were going to get a hair dryer and leave it for me that afternoon on the porch. They never did. I don’t feel like I got my moneys worth.

We’re confused again as credit was given “for your noted inconvenience” about the hair dryer, also understanding that “you didn’t want to wait to have us bring you one out.” I’m sorry you “don’t feel you got your monies worth,” as we were understanding that the hair dryer issue was resolved when your credit was received.
