Amazing view of the beach! Beautiful modern condo. We did have some issues with the cleanliness of the from when we arrived but it was immediately and professionally addressed. Would definitely recommend and we would use the same place over again!

Return Stay

We stayed in the complex a couple years ago and enjoyed it so much then we decided to stay here again. It did not disappoint. My wife and I enjoy the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella. I did like the reserved parking this time. Facility is clean and the area isn't too crowded. We will most likely stay again in the future!

The kitchen had the bare minimum when it came to equipment, but it was plenty for the two of us as we ate out every night. The complex is nice. The furnishings are what I would expect from a rental and in good shape. All in all this is a good condo and our experience with the rental company was very good. The smart phone app they provide is very useful!

When we arrived it was gone completely and they had installed a nice dresser and touched up the wall. It probably looks better without the bed and we did not need it! Overall loved the unit. The dishwasher had some funky growth in it so we avoided that, otherwise 5 stars.

I did not have to sanitize anything. We ve been coming several times a yr over last 15 yrs and will be back to this unit again. Compliments to the owner who has the unit tastefully decorated and stocked with good quality linens, towels, and kitchen items. The parking with this unit was a plus. These 2 seniors, our" kids" and our 12 yr old great gson loved every minute there. Elizabeth at Brookes n Shorey has been so helpful during our last several stays in the area. 😊

When we got there at night, the top bunk had not been changed as there was sand all through it. So we had to do laundry upon arriving. Of course the next day, they offered to have the cleaning crew come back, but that is to little to late at that point. The baseboards in the bathrooms need cleaned as there is hair and dirt all over them. Beyond that, the beach is beautiful and because of us traveling at the end of June there were not many people. It was very relaxing and enjoyable!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay each time we have stayed in this unit. Surprised by the lovely remodel since last spring. Very clean, comfortable quiet.. and we will be back. Location is good for easy access to beach and all things Destin or westward. Pelican Isle management needs to get both elevators working for the last 3 times we stayed only 1 worked. This time the one got stuck early in our Vista was repaired and as we left my son in law was stuck in elevator at 5:45 am. 911 brought the fire dept and using stairs we loaded and left.Must say unit is great and if elevators are working we will be back again real soon. Brooks n Shorey is awesome and have taken care of us for several years now.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is one of my favorite units. It's clean, quiet and has almost everything you'd expect. I have stayed here twice in one season however, and the door code did not change. This is a pretty big security issue to me. Also on my latest visit, they did not leave dish towels and pot holders as they usually do.Not necessarily specific to this unit but to all units in this building, they need blackout curtains on the bedroom window. The sun will blast you in the morning. (at least you'll be up early enough to reserve a chair on the beach. Seriously. Do that.)The dishwasher also needs attention.Other than that, I recommend it.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit itself was very nice and had a beautiful view of the beach and beach access. We were not able to get into our condo until after 5:15. This has been the case the last several years that we have rented through Brooks & Shorey. There was no dishcloth/towels, pot holders/oven mitts, or dishwashing starter soap even though you are expected to run the load of dirty dishes prior to checkout. There was a blood stain on the bedsheets the size of a quarter so not sure if the sheets were clean or stained but regardless it made us feel like they were not cleaned well. Also recommend adding a cutting board, some type of grilling utensils, and an additional small skillet as there was only one. Otherwise, everything was well stocked and worked as it should.
