Verblijf was rolstoelvriendelijk en hotel is ook voorzien voor mensen die met honden reizen. Er is een lift voorzien. Sommige staff zijn vriendelijk. Dit hotel is niet meteen voorzien voor mensen die met openbaar vervoer reizen gezien de wandelafstand naar Fort William zo'n 40 minuten in beslag neemt. Hotel ligt ook aan een drukke baan

Leuk budget hotel.
Hotel is prima als je iets zoekt als uitvalbasis. Even douchen en slapen. Verder is het een gedateerd hotel en kan wel wat onderhoud gebruiken. Wifi alleen in de lobby/bar. Hotel word meestel bezocht door bussen vol 60+. Dus entertainment is daar ook op aangepast. Maar wij hebben het alleen gebruikt om te slapen en douchen en dan is het prima. €120 voor 3 nachten incl ontbijt.

The property is dated and in poor condition. The floors make noise as you walk and as your room neighbours either side and above you walk or move also. It kept us awake or woke us early in the morning. Not great really

Elevator was down. The least the hotel could do was help take luggage up but no. Room floor board creaks. Except for the shower, toilet and lights, nothing else works. Less than basic amenities. Just terrible!

The elevator was not working and we were booked on the 3rd floor. Very inconvenient with a heavy suitcase. The front desk attendant was very helpful. We had a flat tire and he was great. Both breakfast and dinner were very good.

Difficult to judge as property is currently undergoing refurbishment The staff had excellent customer service skills and were friendly and helpful Our first room had a shower problem, but this was quickly rectified by changing our room. The location is spectacular, the view cannot fail to amaze

1. The beds were flimsy. 2. Elevator was not working. 3. No ventilation in the room without opening the window. 4. Carpet was dirty and was not covering the whole room due to which a ton of dirt was accumulated on the room edge.

This hotel was perfectly adequate though the room was very dated. The bed was really comfortable. The linen was clean. The room and the bathroom were very tired. Lots of dirty marks on the ceiling, black on some of the grouting, ill fitting toilet seat, no toilet roll holder and cheap toilet rolls. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The exterior of the hotel had scaffold all around it. I presume they are doing repairs or painting the exterior, but certainly some money should be spent on modernising the rooms. Foyer and dining area were lovely. I would definitely stay there again as a stopover. Not sure I would want an extended stay, in the room we had.

Pro: the view of the loch and it ends there. If you are going to stay here I recommend a car for sure as it’s far from the city centre. The room was just okay, it has your basic needs, heater, clean bathroom but mentioned in other reviews there is much upgrading needed. Even just as simple as wiping the walls. The bed was comfortable enough and the staff were on site. The elevator is out of service and we were offered no help with our suitcases to the 4th floor. The doors in the rooms have no lock on the inside besides the doorknob and no safe. The buffet breakfasts star highlight was the cereal bar. We decided to stay in for dinner one night and were not advised the restaurant is only open for two hours of dinner service with a course meal menu and a reservation is required. We managed to get a reservation 15 minutes before it closed and half the meal options were sold out. While being a cost effective option I wish I had spent the extra to stay somewhere else.

Obviously it’s a budget hotel- so we weren’t expecting much. Front desk staff were very friendly, but unfortunately they was the only upside of our stay. . Rooms are aged and worn looking. They’ve tried to add a coat of paint to spruce up the room, but it’s hard to overlook the stained carpets and dirty walls. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Elevator not working. Construction noise and scaffolding on the facade. The website shows beautiful and modern rooms which is quite misleading. Glad it was only a one-night stay. Perhaps they are renovating? Hope so.

The place is old and dirty, we only stay for one day. The toilet doesn't work at all. We went and told staff 3 times and they have done nothing to accommodate us. Either change rooom or fix the toilet . When we check out they haven't say a word to us.

This hotel would have been really nice when it was built. It is dated, and the bed was pretty old, but it was clean, convenient and reasonably priced. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise: a full buffet with hot and cold options, and my table had a beautiful view of the loch.

Front desk staff was friendly, easy check in process. Our room smelled a little musty but we opened the window and that helped. Rooms were very dated and tired but it was clean. The bed was very hard, however I still slept good.

A tired cheap as chips
A tired example in need of some update. Yes. It's cheap as chips so I guess you get what you pay for It is what it is. And I didn't really expect much more. But the lift was broken. Still. Apparently. And we were put on the top floor of a near empty hotel. The bed was badly broken and who on earth does the maintenance? Mr Magoo could do better with a tube of silicone in the bathroom. Only one double socket so you are constantly changing what's in what. Kettle, TV, chargers etc

Very good value
I needed an overnight stay in Fort William after a late drive up from Glasgow. The Caledonia Hotel was very reasonably priced , check in was efficient and the room spotlessly clean. Breakfast was really good (cereal, then full cooked then pastries) though a decent cup of coffee would’ve been nice. I’d definitely stay here again if I needed an overnight stop.

My stay at this hotel was a bit off this time, the shower in yhe room was not clean, shoer door has some scum from other people showering. Thus has never happened before in this hotel. I like going to this hotel, staff and area are good. Room comfortable, and fresh when you arrive. I am sad to give a bad review.

Excellent Hotel and a great Location
This is our third time at this Hotel Loch view Room very clean Bed comfortable and a great view. All Staff excellent and very helpful Breakfast and Dinner excellent also we book into this Hotel as we are one hour away from the beautiful five Beaches at Arisaig and they are stunning also we are near Corpach and the Caledonian Canal and Glen Nevis also Fort William Shopping Centre we will be back to this Hotel soon
