Great Weekend Getaway
The house is very clean and comfortable! The fenced in yard is perfect for dogs! Our dogs and I enjoyed the lake view from the dock. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Nice place but needs some attention
Property was clean. Nice place. But a few recommendations, cut the lawn. There were ants on n the cabinet. Deck was full of spider webs. Outdoor lights don’t work in the yard. Inside is pretty and clean. The outside needed attention. And the outdoor trash was full when we got there

Lovely Lake View & Dock
Cute 2 bedroom cabin on lake. Nice outdoor seating under the gazebo & trees. Swam in lake which was warm & pretty shallow. TV & kitchen just right. Beds comfortable. Missing a few amenities like hand soap. Front porch light broken. Rat droppings around indoor water heater, but saw no rats. Overall a nice property. Enjoyed our stay.

Just what I needed!
This lil house is the BEST!! The view is gorgeous! The bright colors of this home just put you in a cheery mood. I took both my pups and was very happy with the entire fenced in yard front and back! If you are in need of a relaxing, fantastic views, and getting away from it all. This is the place. I plan on booking this lovely lake house again!

Great place to get away
The house was updated and we loved being able to walk out back and enjoy the view on the lake. The privacy of the back yard was great and there’s a huge shade tree over the fire pit area. We visited during the peak of summer, so sittings on the dock/deck in the evening was our favorite time.

Perfect house for a weekend getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay! Like others have pointed out, the neighborhood is a little run down but you feel so secure on this property! The house was perfect and had everything we needed! AC was super cold which made it nice in these hot temperatures! Our only downfall was the water level of the lake was so low that we couldn’t bring our boat up to the dock at the house, so it was a hassle having to use a marina to pull the boat in and out every day (which is not any fault or control of the property owner). I could sit in that backyard all day looking at that view! Would rent here again when we get some rain ❤️

Great weekend getaway
The rental experience was great from start to finish. The lake house was very cozy and the view of the lake is amazing. Beautiful sunrises every morning. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock and we relaxed and spent a lot of time at the outdoor patio plus enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Loved the privacy of the fenced property and the peace of mind that our fur babies could enjoy the yard. We will definitely be back.

The property is great..totally fenced in and right on the water. Private dock is perfect. House is perfectly sized all the necessities, the deck fit the family perfectly. Fire pit was great lawn was awesome the dogs loved it. The ac unit worked great as well as the Fireplace. Definitely coming back next year.thank you

Fantastic
This was my 4th time here and I must say the communication was outstanding. The place was clean,”as always” and the fishing was great. My kids had so much fun. I really can’t say enough. This is where you go when you want to get away with your loved ones. Very safe place to hang out at.

Amazingly relaxing weekend!
Beautiful, clean, peaceful vacation getaway!! Boat ramp was 2 doors from the house. Spent the whole day on the lake. The neighborhood looks rough, HOWEVER, talked to several neighbors and they were all so nice!! We would love to come back and stay again.

Perfect weekend getaway
The host graciously allowed me to bring all seven of my well behaved dogs on my weekend getaway! We had the best time. The neighborhood wasn’t the best BUT the property was very secure and felt like it’s own little island. We grilled steaks on the grill, roasted s’mores in the fire pit, and enjoyed the view on the dock. It was quiet, relaxing, and very enjoyable. I’ll be recommending to all my friends.

Cute & cozy
The house is super cute & cozy! We stayed with our family there, 2 adults & 2 teenager. The back patio, fire pit area, & dock are all great spots to sit & enjoy the lake. The neighborhood is a little questionable when driving in but no one bothered us, they have a great security gate, & we felt safe. Thank you for a great stay, hope to come back!

My husband and and I stayed with our 2 dogs. The house was very clean. The neighborhood is lacking, and some houses not taken care of. However this property was awesome for us. We felt very safe inside the gated property. We slept great and very rested after our stay. Thanks Nina!

Beautiful retreat, but beware of barking dogs!!
Property Pros: 1. Beautiful, relaxing, shaded backyard and lovely access to the lake. We spent much of our time tied off to the dock in our tubes. We ate every meal outdoors on the patio. Just a killer backyard and view. 2. Communication was stellar with the owners - response time for any questions was mere minutes. Cons: 1. Inside the home could have been cleaner, some general updating that could be done to really improve it. Peeling paint, dirt and cobwebs in corners, etc. Blinds are needed in the bathroom window as when you are in the shower you can see directly into the neighbors window. 2. Absolutely, positively ridiculous amount of barking dogs in the neighborhood. One yard over I counted 12 little dogs. And they started barking every single morning around 5:30 am. And kept it up most of the day. It was not wonderful to be woken up that early every day of vacation, and did take away from the peacefulness for sure. 3. The A/C is not central and only a unit in the living room, so the bedrooms are absolutely stifling at night. It was miserable even with the provided fans. We would definitely stay again, but maybe not when it is this hot for sure with that A/C situation.

Sweet retreat
Hosts are amazing. So easy to communicate with. Once you enter through the gate of this cute lake house, no need to leave. We ate all our meals outside and enjoyed the views. It rained the entire time so no sunsets, but it did stop raining long enough to use fire pit and make s’mores. We fished. We bbq’d, we enjoyed the view. Just a great place to stay. Nice amenities. Very responsive hosts.

Beautiful views, calming atmosphere with the water and tree canopy- wonderful getaway for family. This property is absolutely the best appointed of VRBO properties we’ve stayed in, lots of extras and our special needs son loved the Smart TV. Great access to water for kayaks. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Very noisy. Dogs barking all around the neighborhood. House was not clean. Grill was not usable because it appeared to have never been cleaned. So, could use the grill because everything caught on fire. No hot water in the sink to be able to sanitize dishes properly. Would not stay there again.

Charming lakeside cottage
We had a lovely stay at this adorable cottage. Pictures online are accurate and the view of the lake is stunning. The outside fire pit and dock are wonderful. Inside, there is an electric fireplace that is beautiful and great on chilly evenings. Communication with the owner/property manager was very easy and we always got timely responses if we had questions. As a few others have mentioned, the neighborhood around the property is a bit run down and some yards are not cared for at all. However, it didn't feel unsafe. It's just a typical rural lakeside neighborhood with older homes. The cottage property is surrounded by a high fence with an electronic gate and we felt very safe there. If you are looking for a peaceful, serene getaway, this is the place for you!

We had a nice stay. The house and property was clean and well maintained. We felt very safe with the gated driveway and fence. The neighborhood driving in was a bit sketchy as mentioned in another review, but once we got to the house and saw the view it was well worth it. We had no issues with anyone. The neighbor was helpful and very friendly.

Beautiful home
Owners did an amazing job making guests feel welcomed, safe, and carefree! This house is a definite diamond in the rough. It was spotless and beautifully decorated. The electronic door and gate made access super easy and added to our sense of security. The backyard and dock were very relaxing. Would have liked dresser and/or closet space to unpack our bags and some sort of storage for pantry items. Loved the electric fireplace, fire pit in back yard, and tall shower for us tall people!! That was nice!

Cute and cozy lake house
Great lake house getaway for the weekend. All you need is in the house or outside. Great to have a charcoal/gas combo grill and CampChef 3-burner stove on the patio. You can sit under the patio, firepit in the middle of the yard, or all the way to the end of the dock to enjoy the scenery and the weather. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but the private driveway/parking with a coded gate was helpful. Overall, it is a great spot for the weekend!

Beautiful views
We enjoyed our stay here so much. It was the perfect getaway with beautiful weather in early October. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There was even some fall decor which I thought was a nice touch! We rented a boat one day, fished and watched the sunrise with our coffee on the dock every morning, and had a fire every night. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets. When we first pulled into the neighborhood we were a little weary, there are lots of unkempt properties in the surrounding area. Once we were greeted by the cute, bright teal house we felt very comfortable and never felt unsafe. There is a privacy fence around the whole yard including a gated driveway! The owners did a great job with this property and we would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway
This was the perfect getaway home. We had everything we needed, we enjoyed the fire pit every night, we enjoyed a cocktail or a glass of wine on the deck and just relaxed. The home is cozy and comfortable- I highly recommend staying here!
