A little slice of heaven..The drive down the driveway was our first clue that this was going to be something really special. The gardens were beautiful and blooming! The view just at the corner of the house was panoramic and breathtaking. Enter the door and you didn't know where to look first. The gorgeous, beautifully appointed home with everything that you could ever ask for provided for your comfort and practical needs, or the 270 degree panoramic views that made you gasp. But let me be specific: The kitchen: a cook's dream! Well organized as well as stocked with family friendly dishes, adequate pots and pans, and utensils. The living area: Comfortable seating in several spots for dining or playing games, glass walled doors that brought those beautiful views to you at an eye lift. Large television to cover the whole living area so all could see and hear. Beautiful beams and architecture that left you wondering, "how did they do that?"
The Bedrooms: Each with a different personality but the same in comfort, luxurious bedding, and space. Bathrooms: Interesting designs in each one and more than adequate towels provided. Downstairs: two game room type places for kids to have a ball or sleep. Laundry room: Modern appliances--so appreciated. Porches: we wore them out. All of us, young to old, loved being out there to drink in the views, drink coffee, have a meal, soak in the wonderful hot tub.
We have stayed in a lot of cabins and this one exceeded our expectations. We felt welcomed and cared for by the owner even though we never met. But it was obvious that the hospitality offered here was more than just a rental. Her attention to every need you could possibly have had already been in mind and attended to. Thank you.
