Upon arrival I was very pleased about my selection. I liked the appearance, decor, style of the hotel and staff.
Upon entrance in our room, everything was still ok.
I immediately used the bathroom, and saw two ants in the bathroom. Thinking they may have come in with us from the outside. I dismissed this. I disposed of the first two.
Then I saw them two more separate instances.
One occurrence was at the threshold between the tile and carpet. Then i was concerned they were on the carpet.
I went to the front desk and they gave us a new room. No ants in the new room. Very Much appreciated!
The main thing that I did not like is the placement of the bathroom in from of the beds!! Have the designers slept in these rooms?
If anyone has to get up to use the restoom during the night or early morning, you have to turn the lights on (from outside the bathroom door), which blairs right in the face of those in the bed. Even through the frosted glass window in the door. How annoying!!!
There is really no night light, thankfully I bring a small one. But in our situation, it wasn't very helpful this trip.
If stayling longer than one night, there are no hooks for towels in the bathroom.
All in All the hotel is beautiful, the beds were comfortable. But disappointed in the room layout. Going forward I will relview further, before booking this hotel chain/and others for room layout.
