'Older house in an obviously older development on the lake. That said, the house has been nicely updated. It was clean, well outfitted, and everything worked. Quiet neighborhood and excellent access to a deep cove. The road in is interesting, but not bad. We had a good time and would certainly go back.'

'We loved staying at this house! It was the best stocked house we have ever rented! We love to cook and we planned to bring most of our supplies with us from home because rental houses usually have just the minimum. This kitchen was equipped with spices, pots, pans, and more than enough supplies for a comfortable stay. Our kids loved walking down to the water and using the kayaks and water mat. There is plenty of seating and the bedrooms were the perfect fit for our group. Edita is very quick...

'We adored the property all around. Perfect for private weekend at the lake. Our pups loved all the doggie amenities. I could tell the owners really treat this place as their second home, and we felt very welcomed and honored to stay. '

The landscaping is amazing with gorgeous flowers and and colors. The pool is very pretty with a deep blue bottom that just pops. The place itself has a couple of rooms and a bathroom and is very clean. There is only one TV in the living room so plan for that. The AC struggles with GA heat but that's understandable. There is a steep stairway to get to it...

'The property was great. Plenty of room/space. Loved the rustic feel it had. Back porch/patio was huge along with a big open yard. Also a very cool loft area especially for younger kids. Close to boat ramps as well as Toccoa and Lavonia. Would definitely stay here again. '

'We were there for a junior golf tournament at cateechee golf course. It was convenient to the course and restaurants and fun to be able to play pickleball in the evenings. House was nice with a comfortable couch and fully equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable. '

'We've stayed for a week at Doug and Lucy’s place in June 2025. We had a really great time, enjoyed everything. Mostly spent time on the lake - swimming, kayaking, fishing. Kids had fun at the beach and playgrounds at the Elrod Ferry Recreation Area, which is just a few minutes drive down the road. Groceries and shopping (Walmart and ALDI) are less than 10 minutes away. Overall, a very nicely located quiet place on the lake. Will definitely try to come back next year.'
