'Our unit had fantastic views of the ocean and wonderful proximity for hearing the surf! We enjoyed the unit, were very comfortable and our beagle, Gracie Mae, was right at home. There is a grassy area right out the front and back sliders. This is definitely the unit in Captain’s Court you want to stay in if you love the beach and ocean :)'

'We know the hotel can't control the weather, but we were surprised by the lack of effort to offer some kid friendly activities with 4 straight days of rain. Other issues we encountered: 1) our shower looked like it was never cleaned. The same 2 pieces of hair were stuck on the tile when we arrived and left. Lots of mold too. 2) my husband took my tween daughters to the gym with him (since we were all going stir crazy from the 3rd straight day of rain!) They were rudely informed at the desk...

'It was convenient for Cumberland island. Hotel itself is dated but they repainted and somewhat added new furnitures. Bathroom needs to be updated. It was clean just very dated and NO exhaust. Breakfast was ok. Staff are welcoming and accommodating. '

'I had a fantastic stay! The property is beautiful and spotless, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. I especially loved the coffee machine with fresh coffee every morning. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!'

'Pet friendly, easy walk to beach with chairs and towels provided! Very comfortable bed, good sized room but bathroom needs updating. Minimal water pressure in the shower. Nice lobby area and nice breakfast buffet included! This is a Hilton property but was advertised as a Hampton Inn when booking. '
