10/10!!!

Property, house, game room, hot tub, checkin and service all 10/10! Bison and Emu just 200 yards from the house 10/10 — pleasant surprise. Privacy, yet proximity 11000/10!!! Attentiveness and kindness from the host, 10/10! The only minor downside was the driveway gave us a bit of a surprise (pleasantly for my V8 SUV, but less so if we’d had our car), some burrs and tall grass in the immediate yard areas, but not enough to ding the property for its utter perfection and secluded relaxation. Would totally recommend this property and can’t wait to book another stay!

New years in Fredericksburg

Family of 6 - grandparents to children ages 7 and 8, had a really nice time. The location is the best. Loved the property, the privacy, pin drop quite yet a short drive to town and all the action. The ranch style is great with everything on one floor. Kids really enjoyed the game room. However I’d recommend certain maintenance items that if managed during turnovers - would’ve got me to leave 5 stars. But a few things like the jacuzzi water was too low and those jets not usable as a result. The water level should be checked between guests and filled up accordingly. When we came home after a long hike at Enchanted Rock we were looking forward to a relaxing jacuzzi. So this was disappointing and if we were to fill it up with the hose, the water was too cold and took too long to heat up. So that was a big miss. The primary bath had one sink basically inoperable. The water would trickle out the left sink and you couldn’t do much with it so there was one usable sink. A bummer. There were various light bulbs out and all but one candle in the fireplace had working batteries. Would’ve been nice to have this feature but no luck. The fire pit was a nice feature. However the propane tank was not hooked up properly and had a tiny bit of gas left. Not full as promised. My dad managed to fix it and got it working. Without him we wouldn’t have been able to use it. There isn’t any instructions on it either. This would be helpful. Communication was minimal and lagging from host.

Our new favorite VRBO!

The house and location was absolutely perfect for our family of 8 + our small dog. The House was beautifully appointed with luxurious amenities— Incredibly comfortable beds, couches, chairs, even the robes! The house was very clean and clearly well kept-everything from the barbecue grill to be converted into a game room providing hours upon hours dishes/serving entertainment plates for snacks, it was the perfect destination for family time. Highly recommended communication from the owner on a daily basis.

Beautifully Appointed Hill Country Home!

We stayed at The Wildflower Haus over the total eclipse in April. The location is perfect - secluded, yet just a few minutes from Main Street. The interior is beautifully appointed, with no detail overlooked. From the comfortable sitting areas and beds, to the luxurious robes and the abundance of high-end kitchen items, the home interior was very comfortable. Step outside and you are greeted by deer in the mornings and evenings, which was very relaxing. The back patio area has both lounge seating and table dining for a large group, which allowed outdoor dining for the spring evenings. The owner, Stevie, is amazing and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. Her communication throughout our stay and the post-trip follow up reinforced how committed she is to making sure you have the best possible experience. We will definitely choose The Wildflower Haus for our next trip to Fredericksburg!

Peaceful getaway close to town

The house location could not be better if you want to experience both nature and Fredericksburg in one trip. The house itself was beautifully decorated, stocked with EVERYTHING you may need, and the hosts were kind and communicative throughout. Out of dozens of VRBOs my family and I have stayed in, this experience rises above the rest. Book with confidence.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The owners have considered every comfort. Very nicely stocked kitchen with quality items. Wonderful views. We enjoyed the hot tub as it was cold. In warmer weather we would have enjoyed the yard games. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect family celebration

This home was perfect for a family celebration over New Year's. The home is decorated beautifully, and has everything we could need, comfy mattresses, and a wonderful location with lovely exterior living spaces! Great location to explore Fredericksburg

Spacious house with plenty of room for our adult daughters and us; the lounging area is very comfortable to relax after a day of hiking or walking around town. Very well decorated and appointed, with everything we needed and more. The playroom in the garage was a big hit! And Stevie was a great communicator; super easy check in process, and always asking if there was anything we needed.

The best place to stay in Fredericksburg

We rented this house for a bachelorette party and it was the PERFECT place. It’s close to town, but we had a hard time wanting to even leave the house because it is so cute and well kept. The view is beautiful, the land is peaceful, and the house has plenty of amenities to keep you busy. We were already looking at weekends we could come back to rent the house again. Stevie was also an amazing host and checked in frequently to make sure we were doing well. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
