Geschiedenis ontmoet luxe tijdens deze werkelijk magische vakantie in het beroemde historische gebied van Fredericksburg. De 3400 sq. Ft. Rock Estate Home (voor 4-12 gasten heeft 4 slaapkamers / 3 badkamers)

Fredericksburg biedt veel vakantiewoningen, maar geen enkele biedt meer charme, schoonheid en voorzieningen dan Sweet Escape.

Dit grote Duitse kalkstenen huis (Heinemann - Moritz Estate gebouwd in 1873) werd in het voorjaar van 2019 voor luxe gerenoveerd. De grootste slaapkamer heeft gebrandschilderde balken en een gewelfd plafond, hoge ramen met uitzicht op de privé-binnenplaats, een kingsize hemelbed, tv en een eigen marmeren bad (dubbele Vlaamse antiek porseleinen spoelbak, regendouche en voetstuk badkuip). De 2e slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed en de 3e slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed. De 2e en 3e slaapkamers delen een badkamer met dubbele wastafels in graniet en een grote dubbele inloopdouche. De vierde slaapkamer op de bovenverdieping (steile trappen - niet voor ouderen of peuters) heeft een gewelfd gewelfd plafond, 2 queensize bedden, een tv en een eigen badkamer met douche. De gastronomische keuken heeft een extra groot eiland, een bar en een Wolf-gasfornuis met 6 branders, een bakplaat en 2 ovens voor de kleine chef-kok in u! De woonkamer is van vloer tot plafond met uitzicht op de weelderige achtertuin, liefdevol genaamd "The Secret Garden" door vrienden. Het huis biedt ook een gameroom / studeerkamer en een biljartkamer / woonkamer met een tv voor de gasten om te spreiden. Het huis biedt kabeltelevisie, 4 flatscreen-tv's en wifi. De eettafel biedt plaats aan 8 personen met 3 extra stoelen aan de bar in de keuken. De patio heeft een eettafel voor 8 personen, een zithoek voor 4 bij de grill en een gashaard met plaats voor 6 personen. De veranda heeft 4 rockers, dus er zijn meerdere opties voor entertainment! Het landgoed is gelegen op .66 afgelegen hectare slechts een blok verwijderd van Main Street. Instelling omvat 2 Engelse binnenplaatsen en een grote achtertuin met oude rode schuur!

Magical stay

The house, yard, and pool were beautiful. The grounds and home were clean, well stocked, and organized. There were lots of pool toys and corn hole, and a fire pit. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard after dark watching the fireflies. The kids loved having the upstairs all to themselves with two big beds, its own bathroom, and a TV. We were mere minutes from downtown. We had a magical stay at this home.

Historic Fredericksburg

This property was a perfect spot for our long weekend getaway. The home delivered what had been promised and more. We relaxed in the pool and enjoyed the beautiful yard. The location is ideal to enjoy all the offerings in the area from hiking Enchanted Rock, picking fruit in a nearby orchard, wine tasting and of course enjoying the town. We started every day with an easy walk to Main Street to try a different coffee shop. We even squeezed in an evening ghost tour. All of this while having plenty of time to relax, cook and play games in this beautiful home. We will be back.

Like being in a country garden, but just a couple blocks from Main Street!!

Everything about this property was first rate. The home, garden/yard and pool are exquisite. The beautiful trees, flowers and singing birds are worth the trip! Comfy beds with beautiful linens. Fully stocked with anything you could want and plenty of room to enjoy with friends. There were 5 of us. The hostess is extremely responsive and goes over and above to make your visit perfect - even fresh flowers in almost every room!! If I could give this property more than 5 stars, I would!!!

My friends and I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this home. Jill was extremely responsive and helpful, and had great recommendations throughout the town. She even added some thoughtful touches to our stay that made my birthday celebration even more special! The home was immaculate, well stocked, and exactly as shown in the pictures. Loved our stay…plenty of room to spread out. :) House sits on far end of west side of town which technically is walkable to Main St; however, most of the shops we visited were on other side of Main making a car ride necessary to carry all of our loot . :) Definitely will stay again. Amazing!

I cannot say enough wonderful words to describe Jill or this home! Jill went out of her way to help us after we were left high and dry by a last minute booking cancellation elsewhere. Our large family was traveling from out of town to celebrate belated holiday fun. Jill was so welcoming and had the hot tub on for us upon arrival! She was so responsive and helpful with our last minute change to her gorgeous home. We were overjoyed at this turn of events when we were able to fully relax and enjoy all this home has to offer from the game room for cheese and puzzles, multiple Christmas trees, pool table, comfy reading books, nap spots, perfectly equipped bedrooms & bathrooms & kitchen. It wa the most magical experience for our family to be together in such a lovely home. Everything was so close too…we were up and down Main Street…from eating at Hondos, at the house, wine tasted at Beckers, and even went to the Pacific war museum. Thank you Jill!

A lovely home in a beautiful setting. We loved this house, it was clean well stocked (so much coffee) and a great layout. We enjoyed the hot tub, the billiards, and the patio. The dining table fit us all and it was not a bad walk to main street. Would def stay again!

We had such an amazing experience. Jill was such a help and the communication was excellent. The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was great and stocked with everything, there were even s'mores supplies! We had a very kind gift from a local bakery as well. Romantic getaway

Our first visit to Fredericksburg was a delightful experience, and the house played a significant role in making it so enjoyable. We loved being able to stroll to nearby restaurants and explore the charming town without relying much on our car. The owner's suggestions were invaluable in helping us plan where to eat and what to do. After a day of walking and wine tasting, the pool was refreshing in the afternoons, and we had a blast playing pool in the evenings. The house had a lovely vintage charm, which we adored, but it did come with the quirks of an older home—creaky floors and sounds from the outside, including some late-night construction noise from jackhammers. Despite that, the cleanliness of the house met our expectations. We did notice a few dead roaches and gnats, likely a result of recent pest control efforts, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and we would definitely recommend this house to others.

Quite the historical, comfortable stay

This was a perfect stay for reuniting 7 old friends. The house was comfortable and beautiful. So much privacy to be a block off Main St. Plenty of room to sit down and eat or play games at the table. The pool was nice. Enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, bedroom and pool needs. Cleanliness was a 10! This original 1871 home was of extreme interest! Jill responded immediately to our needs.

Lovely Bachelorette Weekend @ the Lux Estate

The perfect place to stay when you are visiting Fredericksburg!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful house in Fredericksburg, Texas! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and cozy the house was. Despite the hot summer weather, the house remained wonderfully cool, providing a perfect retreat from the heat. The outdoor space was just as delightful, featuring a stunning pool and well-maintained landscaping. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind. The location was fantastic! Just a short 4-minute walk to the main part of town, we were able to enjoy all the local shopping and dining with ease. Plus, it was only a 2-minute drive to even more great spots, and the famous wineries of Fredericksburg were still conveniently close. Our host truly made the experience exceptional. They were attentive, responsive, and genuinely one of the best hosts we've ever dealt with. Their hospitality added so much to our stay, making it even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in Fredericksburg!
